I have not smoked cigarettes in many years, but I had been dipping for about 6-7 years. And wanted to get off it.

Now I have a few standard 510 650 battery's, and a couple 808 style. I also have several tanks, Ego Thread type, and 510 Internal Thread Type.

I'm looking into a couple Variable Voltage Battery's, with a few useful features, Ohms, Voltage mainly, Puff Count.

Not sure which sub forum/forums I should be using. And I have two different Types in mind that look good to me. Features Wise.

First on my list is a Joytech eVic (not the supreme ver) $69.99
With a add on Airflow Control For Protank & Kanger mainly.
Seems this one only fits 510 internal thread tanks. I'd like to be able to use it with ego also, Possible? with an adapter or not worth it, just stick to what fits it?

Second one, is a New Chrome Vmax, $41.99 not sure if this is a clone of a Zmax or what? Not sure what thread/tank type it's made for.

That's about my limit for expense.

Any help pointing me to someone who may have both of these would be great. I really like them due to the fact, when the battery is used up, it's cycles I can just buy a new battery or two, and not a whole throw away unit. And I'd like to make my own coils, which I have already been doing, just single coils for CE4 & CE5, and Kanger T3S and Protank 2.

Please for give me for posting this in New Member's Forum, but I was not sure if I should have to post this question in two separate sub forums, or could I get help all in one place.

Again Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First, welcome to ECF! You have to make your first five posts in this section before you can move on to the other parts of the forum. That way we can make sure that you are not an artificial intelligence source trying to take over the world, starting with this forum!

I, personally, do not have experience with the Vmax or Zmax, but I am sure that there will be others along shortly that can answer your questions regarding those items.

As for the ProTank2, try it with an Aero base. The ability to allow more air flow, and control the amount of air flow makes a huge improvement.

I started vaping the beginning of june : Workmate (female ) was using a twist (i think) and as I'd tried all the NRT's including combining patches/lozenges/nasal spray, and still kept relapsing , I thought....ok I'll try this.. once more unto the breach and all that.
Fantastic. If I'd found this years ago I'd have saved a fortune in NRT.
Still spent quite a bit on vaping , though. Bought an E-LVT mod and Nautilus tank (later found it was counterfeit) on ........... Had a load of 18650 batteries bought for torches last winter on DHGate (they're crap- at least 50% failure and rising) . Stripped the 501 thread on the elvt with the counterfeit tank and had it taped to the mod while a set of protank 2 mini's arrived . Got a u-storm clone as backup and ordered a load of replacement kanger and nautilus heads and a GENUINE nautilus (yay) .... and for good measure a hades clone and an itaste vtr. (last 2 yet to arrive..soon, hopefully)
My second batch of juice arrived today from misteliquid, so I should be good for the next 552 days, by my calculations.

Thanks, but I use eBay, and ecigarettechina mostly, Those big name vendors are to rich for my blood. I have made a change, have decided not to joy with the Joytech Evic, and replace it with a Vamo v5. And for now the Chrome Vmax is also looking like my number 2 choice. Thanks for the warm welcomes, and info. I'm try to make my first dual coil in one of my pro tank 2 maybe tomorrow. Or I may just wait till I get the variable voltage mods. Which will be a week away roughly.

I'd recommend the MVP2, but you specified replaceable battery to the e-lvt.

I have a vamo3, a sigelei zmax, and a vamo5s control head myself.
I like the vamo's for the buttons; so far I've have to replace the insulator ring on the centerpin of the vamo3 after the first 3 months

Well I bought a Vamo V5 & a Vmax, also a couple thread adapters, and a couple air flow adjustment valves. Pluss some other odd n ends.

Can, or does anyone know of a guide that will tell me what ohm's I'll end up with depending on wire size, and how many loops in the coil?

I ordered 32gauge" nichrome. (2) 100 foot spools. Plus about 40 or so feet of 3mm silica wick.

Look into the innokin itaste mvp 2 and the itaste vv for a smaller ego-ish type device. both are vv-vw and have a puff counter. The itaste mvp 2 is a bit bigger, but you can charge your phone and any other device that uses a usb cable because it has usb input on the bottom of the mod. on top of that, the battery lasts about 3 days on a full charge for me. and thats chain vaping!
