New mod coming & can't wait!

I'm fairly new to smoking eCigs and the only ones I've smoked are a cheapy gas station one with a $21.85 starter kit (cartos are a 3-pack for $11.64)

So this new mod coming is from CCV

I have:
2 E-Power ICR 14650 1050mah 3.7V batteries
1 Battery Tube
2 Switches
1 Cone
5 Pre-filled darts (tobacco 24mg) <- gross (I hope it maybe taste somewhat like a marb red.)
2 (5-Pack) of Resurrector Mega LR 1.7 cartos
& 1 free 30mL of Black N Vild juice

I also have 2 (5pack) of 3mL sampler bottles from BMV

Also.. about that cheapy gas station cig. I know I can refill cartos and the gas station one has cartos... So I used a fork to pop off a hard plastic piece (like a donut pretty much) then popped off a smaller soft plastic piece to find a beautiful wick. Before I sent it back I took Revolver up on their offer and "tried" their menthol juice. I refilled all 27 cartos I've bought from that gas station. Each carto lasts me approx. a day so hopefully I wont have to buy anymore of those cartos. Now to bring that ReVolver piece of junk back to USPS to have it returned >.>.

This little gas station cig really isn't that bad at all. It charges in like 2 hours and I can smoke it almost all day I have to start charging it like 5 hours before I go to bed then I smoke til I'm in bed and let it charge over night. I can't wait to get that big 1050mah bat though. It's gunna go allll day hopefully!

Any tips/comments/heads ups?

Thanks, I got a lot of help from mynameisrob. He stayed up with me til pretty much 4:30 in the morning before I spent 87 dollars on that revolver piece of junk.

I've got the E-Power and love it(also from CCV)...you are fixin' to experience a whole new level of vaping pleasure...I vape around 5ml/day and get 12+hrs from the big E...the Black & Mild is...intense...and very good...the Resurrectors are just awesome BUT, use a syringe for first fill, especially using the VG juice from CCV or it will take all day to fill...the Resurrectors are a "hot" carto and care needs to be taken to get it properly filled or it will burn the filler...care also needs to be taken to keep it well filled, after about an hour, I drip another 10-15drops into it...

I use BMV juices(80/20/16mg w/flavor shot) almost exclusively and since they are fresh made, I find, letting them sit for a week(steeping) helps tremendously...their Peach Brandy is a fav, and I mix their Vanilla Tobacco and Caramel Tobacco(50/50) as my all day vape and my wife vapes their French Vanilla or Peppermint Patricia when she is not vaping Clove(black) from Liberty Flights...vape on with the big E, you're gonna love it!!!!!!

Good selection. It will be a big improvement over what you started with. There have been a few issues with the E-Power switches but many more good reviews than issues. Pretty much the same holds true with similar mass produced models such as the Riva. Good suppliers stand behind their products. Good Luck.

That sounds like you'll have a great setup, Big Dan. You'll be set for a while with juice (about 2 weeks LOL). I'm glad Rob was able to help you pick a really good PV, and get you set with everything you'll need for a while. 1 thing to remember, always have backups, and backups for your backups. It's a terrible thing to run out of, or have something go bad, and have to go back to the $20 one till you get replacements, or resort to analogs. Good luck, and keep us posted on how you like your new E-Power.

My only heads up...

1 - 1.7ohm on 3.7v is going to be a lot hotter than what you were vaping. Consider some simple 1ml cartos too - maybe some Boge 2 ohm or even the 3 ohm for when you want a softer vape.

2 - an atomizer and drip tip for testing juices - I won't dirty cartos to try juices

3 - get a shorty 510 extender from madvapes in case the threads of the Epower are too deep for something you buy for it. I think the extender may be needed for some Ego mega cartos

And buy more juice after you test those and see what you like and don't.

@madjack I saw that on one of the reviews someone said they were referred by you. E-Power must be doing something right, haha. A lot of their reviews are positive. I really can't wait to get it. Thanks for all the pointers! I can't wait to try the butter rum or Vanilla. I'm a big hookah smoker as well so I'm familiar with tasting all sorts of crazy flavors from fruit blends to spices to copying margarita flavors, hookahs and eCigs have VERY similar flavor. Every eCig flavor I've seen I've smoked out of or have seen as a hookah flavor.

@dormouse I plan on getting a 180mL of my favorite flavor out of these 10 and then I want to get 2 more sample packs and get another 180mL out of my fav from there (maybe even more!)

BFD, be wary of getting large quantities of any juice flavs until you have been vaping over a month orso, your tastes will change as you detox from the funkarettes...what you would kill for today, may be kinda meh later.........

p.s. just to note...the Resurrectors will hold pretty near 2ml of juice...fill them accordingly...I use them almost exclusively now. I still have some 2ohm Boges that I use occasionally for sweet juices...anything of a higher ohm, is just not for me...I keep trying various cartos such as the ego mega DCCs and regular dccs amongst others and keep coming back to the Resurrectors...they just ROCK and work well for me and my tastes........mj

I went to refill another cig2o (gas station) carto with my revolver liquid and it feel (with the dripping thing still on) the drip thing just popped off the liquid flew all over the place, the floor, my eye, my hair and clothing. So now I wreak of menthol and I'm pretty sure revolver wont let me return an empty 30mL bottle of ejuice... I tried using a spare syringe I had from CVS to suck the liquid up, didn't work. Then while I was messing around with the other 30mL bottle it fell too. So now I'm pretty ...... because I have about 10-15mL out of 60mLs... I don't think I'll be able to return either of those bottles so now I'm screwed out of $32USD >.> I'm just gunna return the Ifiniti Ion kit and tell them I get the 60mLs to a friend as a thanksgiving present. Hopefully that works.

You are going to love the E-Power 14650 with Resurrectors. I got mine last week and it has worked flawlessly.

The 14650 will provide well over a day of vaping with the Resurrector cartos. I'm using 24mg Wow! Kamel juice because I was a Camel smoker. The juice doesn't taste anything like Camel smoke but the aroma is close to that of the unburned tobacco. It took a few days, but now I prefer the taste of the Wow! Kamel to the cigarette.

Here is a hint on maintaining the E-Power 14650. As soon as I got it I used a toothpick to apply a little Vasoline to the battery tube and cone threads. I've learned from using small LED flashlights and handheld lasers with similar machining that a little lubrication will assure a long life and less chance of damaging these somewhat delicate threads.

I have to agree here. Not having a backup means temptation to go back to analogs and you dont want to smoke tobacco at all. Have a backup ready to go.

I ordered my Provari today and they said 3-5 days to be shipped but I got the notice this evening that it's already been shipped. WOOT I can't wait. I didn't bother getting any extras just the mod, batteries and charger because I have a local vendor I go to for cartos and juice!!! I hate waiting though I wish they had overnight shipping I would have definately paid for that. HAHA Still vaping my Silver Bullet and still love it now I will be able to carry 2 of my fave juices with me all the time.
