Haven't been on this forum in a while. I need some advice on purchasing a new mod. I always go with starter kits because they are the simplest for me. I currently am using the smok Fortis starter kit primarily but am experiencing some mechanical issues. I've only had it for about a month and it randomly shuts off and doesn't work properly. I'm looking to purchase a new starter kit and need some suggestions. I'm basically looking for something in the $40 to $60 dollar range that's going to last a long time. I also sometimes use the kangertech top fill which I've had for over 5 years and is still going strong. Ideally I would also like to have a mod that doesn't leak or has minimal leaking. This has always been an issue for me no matter which starter kit I purchase. Please help, much thanks!

I have not had much luck with SMOK mods. My go to is geek vape. I still use Kanger tanks as well. Been using this set up for years. My geek vape is the aegis with the 26650 battery. I think they have one that uses 2 18650's and also one that uses one 18650 but I do not think they make the aegis 26650 any more.

I just came back to vaping after a long hiatus and wanted a well-built starter kit in the same price range as you. I went with the Innokin Coolfire z80 (approx $50) and am very satisfied with it. It is easy to use, no leaking, replaceable battery, and an internal charger (there are some good reviews on ECF). It comes with the Zenith II tank which I like better than my ancient Kangertech top-fill tank. I do use both tanks but the Zenith is easier to fill.
