Also, I assume an adapter would be needed for KR8 cartos. Any plans on making the 901 top 808 friendly?

I don't own any kr8-808d cartomizers or kits to test it, but it may work... if not we'll have the XX to 901/808 adapters available in about a week. We also sell 510 and 901 blank cartomizers.

The unit is lightweight, only 50 grams without batteries... the weight with batteries is going to depend on the weight of the batteries that you choose to put inside of it.

I see no reason why this mod wouldn't work with a kr808 cartomizer, i simply haven't tested it because we don't carry that model of cartomizer. The 901 top has vented air holes in it, which is the only difference in an 808 and 901 adapter.

It works perfectly with a 510 cartomizer (thats what i use on mine)
