Make sure you keep the battery connection area clean. Whenever I refilled a clearo or took my topper off for any reason I would wipe out the battery connection with a paper towel. Give the threads a clean while you are at it.
Squeaky threads can be fixed with a little noalox thread lubricant (you can get it at lowes)
Be careful with the battery connector threads - they can be weak and you can easily cross-thread toppers when screwing them in. Some people buy a 510 to 510 connector and leave that screwed into the vamo and screw the topper in to it. It does change the look of the vamo but it might be something to consider.
If you unscrew a bottom coil clearo (like an EVOD) or something, be extra careful you are actually unscrewing the clearo from the vamo and not unscrewing the base coil of the clearo itself. I (and many hundreds of people) have done this and ended with juice dripping all over the vamo. It's better now they made a removable top cap, so you might want to unscrew that before removing the clearo.
That's all I can think of - have a read of the APV section of the forum, and the
VAMO section in particular. Loads more information in there.
Finally, welcome, enjoy and may all your vapes be flavorful.
