So I'm fairly new to vaping , I just wanted to see if u guys could give me some advice on what to get , I've tried some different types of ecigs and they all have had there pros and cons , I've been looking like crazy for something for me online , but there is so many choices , don't know where to begin , I smoke pall mall menthols about a pack and half a day , I've tried the blues and they worked for a while but they were not lasting all day and was paying about as much or more then smoking cigs , and don't like how you cant fill with your own flavors , but loved how small it was and simple it was , then I bought a ego batt and tank kit and that worked for a while but I work in a shop and it kept breaking but the batt lasted all day , and I could fill it with the liquid I wanted , so my problem , I need something very strong and cheap , and by cheap I mean the keep going cost , not the initial cost for ecig , mod, kit etc. . I've seen some mods that look indestructible but there huge , I cant put them in my pocket . Also again I work in a shop , so I smoke without my hands and my cig hanging in my mouth, that's another pro for the blu I could do that , so im lost its like I need something between blu and the fill ur owns . so to wrap this up , I Need something u can run over with a car , something u can fill yourself , something u can fit in your pocket , batt will last all day , and wont have to fill it throughout the day , and fairly cheap to keep going , and advice would be appreciated , thanku

When you find it, let me know!

Seriously, I seldom recommend this, but you really might want to look at a good KR808d setup, like the Smokeless Image Volt. Battery probably won't last all day but you can get the pcc (basically a remote charging kit you can carry to work to keep one battery charging while you use the other), and when at work use cartridges... they are a lot more resilient than any clearomizer or cart tanks that I know of.

I actually enjoy my kr808's when I use them (which is not that often). But for work, they might be a good option.

Sure you'll get a bunch of other recommendations... there are definitely better devices out there, but of course battery life is tied pretty tightly to battery size, and most systems use clearo's or tanks that are relatively fragile.

Your demands are extremely tough to fill to say the least. Honestly, I imagine that something is going to have to be sacrificed.
1. Sacrifice size
2. Sacrifice battery life
3. Sacrifice durability

If your willing to sacrifice size, an MVP2 would be a fantastic choice. The battery will last you all day and they are a very highly acclaimed device both in and out of this forum. Not quite sure what your topper needs are, but a Kanger Aerotank wouldn't be a bad combo with this.

If your willing to sacrifice battery life, an ego battery, or an Itaste vv3 would be a good choice. Both of these are likely to have a larger battery than what you currently have though, so that may not be a huge deal. For these, the Kanger mini protank II is a great choice, and I thought I just saw something about the mini protank II in an adjustable airflow model.

If your willing to sacrifice durability, the ego battery or maybe the joyetech emode fits your bill. Emode definitely is a loss on battery life too.

None of the above is going to be something you can use without having at least one hand on it. I'm not aware of a super quality e-cig thats going to last you forever, with solid battery life that vapes well, that is available in a cig-alike form factor. From an engineering standpoint, my opinion is that it's not really possible.

MVP2 and Itaste VV3 are my top recommendations. If you want something super rugged that will last you a lifetime, The Provari is a sure bet. Try not to faint when you see the price tag though. I have one and carry it EVERYWHERE.

Good luck, let us know how your search pans out

Edit: while I wouldn't recommend running ANYTHING over with a car, the Provari is the only one that is likely to hold up to that sort of abuse (and has, based on stories I've read)

The Provari is a rock solid unit but a little harsh on the wallet. The Provape-1 is another option. It's made by Provape and it's a no thrills 3.7volt constant output. I also would recommend a Kanger Protank Mini II but buy extra glass just in case :)

+1
I had my full size Protank II glass crack on me without warning. I don't even recall hitting it with something or dropping it, just looked at it and it was cracked. Didn't leak, but I ordered new glass off ebay and it showed up pretty quick. Good advice stocking up on spare glass though

I don't think I'm going to buy a ego batt anymore I've gone through quite a few , that's usally what fails first , my last one I had to resoder the ground wire and put a hose clamp around shell and contact to keep them together , there press fit , cheap lol and the last tank I had broke third day I had it, electric taped it .

Sounds like you're a little rough on them... I don't know of anything that small that's going to be virtually indestructible. Why not get an ego lanyard so you won't drop them...

Actually, I am going to +1 the Smokeless Image line. They have a good number of choices, for what they are.........the quality is good and the customer service is top notch. It won't break the bank but they are not indestructible.

I have suggested this before but have not tried it.

You buy a Smokeless Image X2 Auto 900 or 1300mah or a Spinner Auto 900 or 1300mah, choose a topper for it. The Aspire line (ET, Maxi or Aspire Vivi Nova) and the T3s are the better ones. Get a piece of rubber tube, long enough to go from your pocket to your mouth and tighten it down on the drip tip side and you should have a hands free set up. EDIT: I would use a shirt pocket because you would have to suck pretty hard to get vapor from your pants pocket to your mouth

as a bonus, if you buy a 510 version of the Aspire ET or T3, the bases are inter-changeable and you can use a 510 set up with them as well.

Just a thought

Building you own is a good option but make sure you understand ohms law and your batteries limitations. My suggestion is to pick up the best batteries and charger your budget allows. You get what you pay for in the battery world, buy good batteries from good vendors to insure your getting the real deal:)

If you are kicking about dropping the coin on high end AVP you might want to consider buying a cheaper one at first to see what you like and dont like. Remember your batteries dont care if its a $250 or $30 device. You can always upgrade to a higher end unit and use the batteries you already have. After a month or two you can get the high end and use the other for backup or an "at work set up".

A lot of people buy high dollar units and then cheap out on batteries and the charger. Once you get a new unit you will want upgrade your toppers. Then there is the rebuildables....lol
Dont get me wrong and i am not trying to preach, a lot of people in my area jumped in on the high end units with out a clue on how to use them. It funny as hell when my simple ego/kanger work setup is laying down the cloud and the guy with the provari is asking how that little thing is out producing him when vaping the same e-liquid.
