Update,

Changed atomizers and I placed the dewicked/debridged 510 atomizer from avidvaper on my Reo and the burnt taste will not go away. I dripped on it and it will be good for one pull but after that it goes back to the burnt taste. I pushed the bottle and I see the juice coming up but it never reaches the coil unless I press really hard. Should I just throw the 510 atomizer out?

Since I'm having trouble with the 510, I decided to put on a new 306 and I noticed that the mesh and bridge is bent to one side a little bit. I pressed the button but it won't fire up. Today is not my lucky day haha.

Edit: Using the dewicked LR 306 cisco atomizer and it is smooth :).

I had the same thing happen and then realised that the tubing was resting against the wall of the bottle and couldn't draw the juice up. Readjusted the bottle and it worked fine. Hope it's as simple a cure as mine was.

The juice comes up but it barely reaches the coil in the debridged/dewicked 510 atomizer and the burnt taste never went away, even after I boiled it in hot water and washed it in alcohol... doesn't go away. I probably just got a bad batch and I can't send it back since I modified it. This was my first 510 on my Reo but I've used 510's on other PV's before and it wasn't this bad, and so I'll give it another chance when I order another batch of atomizers.

As of now I am using my 2.0 ohm LR cisco 306 atomizer (dewicked/debridged) and it is nice and smooth :). I also got my new batch of Boba's Bounty in the mail but this time it came in a nail polish looking bottle :p.

I vaped some Bavarian Bean with a 306 and have used both Purge and Purity and still there was a faint hint of the stuff. I noticed the white fibers were still a little brownish so I dropped the purge specifically on it and kinda sorta got rid of most of it. Guess I'll have to completely remove it to get rid of that coffee....some flavors just never know when to leave... If I de-whatever, will that make swapping flavors easier? Or does it do more than that?

Some people dewick & debridge their atomizers to get more flavor, to get rid of the burnt taste, to get more throat hit, and to get rid of lingering past flavors. For the 306 atomizers, I suggest to only take out the white fibers and to leave the mesh and bridge intact. I wouldn't try this if you only have a few atomizers and don't try it on brand new atomizers either. Some new atomizers might not require dewicking and might perform just fine as it is. The only time I would dewick is when I don't get enough flavor or get burnt taste.

And yes, swapping flavors is easier in my opinion... if you dewick (taking out the white cloth-like fibers).

Dewicking - To take out the "wick," the white fiber.
Debridging - To take off the mesh on the bridge and an optional step is to remove the metal bridge. Don't remove the bridge on a 306, most likely you will mess up the atomizer.
