Howdy folks. New to the whole ecig thing (about a month or so) and am wondering about a couple pictures I've seen of people smoking big fat PV's? like, the cartridge and atomizer looked maybe from a 510 (which is what I bought, the cheap kit from cignot.com). But i'm not sure.

I only bought the cheapy kit from cignot because I just wasn't sure if this was something I was going to keep doing, but alas, I like it! So I'm looking at either getting some of the manual batteries for the 510 and some spare atomizers, or maybe try one of the big fatty beasts that I've seen.

Just ordered some juice from Ms.T's Bakery and I can't wait for them to get here!

The "big fat" PV's are called mods. They're basically just your standard atomizer (e.g., a 510) with a bigger battery. Some allow you to vape at a higher voltage than the norm (3.7) which some people like and others do not. If you're already happy with how the 510 hits but your not satisfied with the battery life then get a mod. If you're not satisfied iwth how the 510 hits and want more TH then you may want to get a HV mod.

awesome link thanks!

Geeze how could I have been a smoker for 20 years, and it's taken me this long to find ecigs? Oh, and my Doctor, who is an ex-smoker, is the one that turned me on to these when I went to him about chantix lol

Most doctors won't even hint at alternative measures; they just write out prescriptions for drugs that have side effects. Give your doctor a huge hug for me.

Yes...hug that doctor! Also, if you have just a small amount of knowledge of how to rig things up you can make your own mod from many different things. The mod forum is there to help. If you want more battery life, there are some that get life in times like 12-24 hours. Just depends on the size you're willing to deal with for that battery life. (rarely bigger than one of those little mini-flashlights from what I've seen in my time here.)
