new out of the box vivi nova leaking

So i picked up a vmax mod at the vape shop last night, love the thing to death. it came with a vivi nova that i promptly filled and vaped on for a while. now i did switch between my protank and the nova over the course of the night. when i got up this morning the vivi had leaked out of the air holes in the base. is this a quirk of the novas or should i be concerned. i have other tank systems that havent leaked unless i borked it (cross threaded a mt3 head and tank). my other question is could it be that it was loose from the factory? thanks for the help in advance

The only reason that juice would come out of the air holes is that juice got into the center tube.
I've never had this happen personally, but either it is over wicking somehow or was filled incorrectly (i.e. too full, or primed the coil too much)

there wasn't a box for the nova, just a celo wrap. not sure of vision or knockoff as it only says vivi nova on the tank at the bottom thread line

Regardless, it shouldn't leak. Like other posters have said, juice may have got into the center and leaked down. With the Nova's, when you unscrew the top, sometimes the coil will turn with it just enough to make contact enough to work, but let juice get down into the center pin.

ok, sounds like i just need to check the fit on any new tanks like this i get, sound advice. thanks all
