A couple observations after a few days with the C model...

The LR atties definitely don't like Johnson Creek Solstice or Tennessee Cured juice, both dark juices, they both fouled the attiies very quickly, were talking a couple mils, the coil was badly fouled and the draw became very tight, their thin viscosity seemed to be an issue as well, some leaking occurred even after a wick adjustment...my understanding is atties in general don't like the darker juices and foul all atties quickly, so no surprise here with the C.

One of my favorite liquids is the Cignot Basic Cherry "On Top" VG, a much heavier viscosity, I've been vaping the heck out of this stuff, zero leaking and with the plates removed from the mouthpiece almost no condensation.... after probably 10ml of this juice on one attie there was no signs of coil fouling, apparently a very clean product.

I have to say after these few days the C is performing like a champ, and the ability to disassemble the atties and perform a dry burn you can actually see is a huge bonus.

Truman, good to hear! :)

I primarily vape medium color juices, and I am currently on week 2 of an LR Atty with no decrease in performance. I have a few that did lose performance, and they are bagged, and waiting on a maintenance/clean up session.

Thanks again to Sammy for recommending the Kona Coffee Milkshake! Very tasty flavor! :)

Well I went for it wednesday afternoon and ordered an ego-c cone and SR atty's from cignot. They didn't have the LR's so I went with the SR's for now. They shipped it out late wednesday and I can't wait for it to arrive. Merry Christmas to me.

I just had to take apart my regular tank atty. Not fun working in the small tube. Though it did make a big difference after taking a lighter to the wick and dry burning the coil. At first only 1/4 of the coil would glow red. It took a while but it came around and the whole thing started glowing. That's another reason I'm looking forward to receiving my ego-c atty's.

I could have written your exact post as I did the same thing. Vicki is an excellent vendor. Hoping to receive my order Saturday and I will be like a kid at Christmas while I open that thing up! To me, this concept is the best thing since sliced bread.

Had my 1st Atty just completely die on me, today. Other's have diminished in performance (I have a baggy w/ a few now, that I'll do a maintenance session on).. This LR went 2 weeks of all day/every day vaping. For the price, jury still out if I'm even going to bother. Though the "cheap" in me may kick in, and bring all of them back to life..

My goal in going to to a tank system was minimizing all the fiddling/adjusting/maintaining... Course, I didn't forecast the juice buying binge I've been on of late.... (Had been steeping a 30ml bottle of Vapor Bomb - Hypnotic Mist for a few weeks, and cracked it open today.. Very nice flavor on the LR.. Almost get the feeling it's going to be too sweet, but it never hit's that sweet overload point. Very hard to explain.) If I finally find a flavor I vape for more than a day, without going back to Ms. T's Bananas Fosters Coffee, I know I've hit the Motherlode....

The spike seperates from the atty in short order, a small screwdriver pops it off very easily, dunce with water, dry it off then drop it in the cone less the spike for a very easy dry burn, the spike/wick is just a rinse under hot water and good to go.

One thing I found out the hard way...DO NOT put the spike/wick assembly in your sonic jewelry with alcohol...your wick will decinagrate as one of mine did. I had been using alcohol to clean my old T model atties, not necessary with the C model, hot water in the sonic cleaner only.

I wanted to share my attempt at cleaning one of my eGo-C atty's. The first atty I took out of the package when I got my kit has seen the most abuse. I have been changing juices and not blowing this one out in between. I have probably tried about 12 or so different juices all 100% VG. This atty has been going strong for about a week.

All was going well until I tried what I call the atty killer juice. This is the Caramel Kicker VG from AVE. It is a nice flavor but the juice is dark! It is completely opaque...almost black. I have ruined several attys and a few cartos with it. So I thought I would throw it at the eGo-C atty and see how it went. I loaded up a tank and started vaping. It was quite yummy for about 25-30 puffs or so and then I got the dreaded burnt flavor! Dang!

I tried blowing out the atty and then switched to another juice. Coffee from Copper Creek. It still had the burnt flavor. Tire fire as Grimm Green calls it. I took the spike head off and here is what it looked like before cleaning.

The wicking material was charred and stuck to the atty coil. The atty was covered in juice gunk. I did a boil, dry burn, rinse, boil, dry burn and final rinse and this it what it looked like after.

It cleaned up fairly well but this atty is not wicking properly now. I may have been a bit impatient and did not let it dry long enough or this one is simply shot. It vapes but it doesn't deliver the flavor or vapor and it started to taste burnt again. I still have two attys left in the package with two others in service and going strong. I think I will toss the Caramel Kicker juice! :grr:

DonD, Like I mentioned I have not cleaned any of my Atty's yet. When they start decreasing in performance, I just install a new one. BUT, Sammy details cleaning above. (Came from Page 13 of this thread)

Ovale is the only source I am aware of in the US, selling the LR Atty's.. Though TH is much higher w/ the LR's, I wasn't as concerned with lack of TH in the SR Atty's as compared to muted flavor in some of my favorite juice's.... Mint/Menthol/Cinnamon flavors seem to do real well for me on the SR's.. Ms T's Red Hotz, Vapor Bomb - Mutt's Fire 'n' Ice..

Happy Holidays to you too Kent!

Today after about 50ml vaped with my SR 'C' head i decided to go with a soft dryburn, it still was doing well but i wanted to revive it a bit.
I made the burn like the joyetech manual suggest (without disassembling the spike plate) and it got back almost like new specially the flavour rendering.
Very very satisfied of these atomizers.
