First I have to hand it to Cignot. I ordered my ego-c cone and atty's (SR was all they had) late Wednesday and they arrived on Saturday. Excellent. I'll buy from them again for sure.

I have been through around 8-9 tanks and so far I'm liking it better then my regular tank set up. I'm getting a little more vapor and a little better flavor (which are my main concerns) At least as far as my peach (from volcano) is concerned. Definitely the better choice over the older tank setup.

Now I've only been using fruit flavors but I'm about to plug in some chocolate macaroon from MadVapes. Then I want to bounce back to peach and then hit my caramel and cream (also MadVapes) and see how it switches back and forth. I'm thinking with out the packing around the atty like the older one has then it should switch flavors faster.

Anyway, so far I'm definitely giving it a thumbs up to my buddies at work.

I have cleaned and dry burned my eGo-c atty 3 times and each time brought it back to just like it was new. Very easy compared to the old eGo-t. I liked the vape with the T but the expense and hassle of cleaning made me give up on the T. I almost didn't try the C because of the troubles I had with the T, but I am glad I did. Love the new eGo-C and glad I tried it.

Alxx, flavor changes seem to migrate very quickly w/ the "C" Atty's :)
The caramel and cream may vape better on the LR Atty, I think.. Some have experienced better results using the SR "C" Atty for fruit flavors. I have found the LR Atty works well for the two fruit type flavors I vape often: Ms T's Bananas Fosters Coffee (The Coffee side of this flavor comes out nice), and Hypnotic Mist from VaporBomb.

Hey I need some help. I thought that my atty was burned out because it was tasting burnt. So I switched to another (slightly used) atty & brand new tank all was fine, until I came home refilled my tank (same juice, that was fine) and got the horrible burnt taste again. So I opened a brand new atty and I'm still getting this burnt taste, it's so bad it burns my eyes. HELP!!!!!!

Absolutely Bun...if you don't leave a bit of air in the tank you'll definitely experience dry hits, when I install a new tank I always cover the 2 vents at the battery/atty junction with my fingers then take a draw or 2, you'll see a couple bubbles rise in the tank, when you see bubbles you're wicking and ready. Use this same technique when you install a cleaned dry atty.

Umm nope unfortunately, I'm half way through a Tank and the horrible burn is back????? I can't figure out the problem. :(
The only time I get a burnt taste is if I don't prime the wick with a few drops and watch it wick in with a new eGo-c atty. Then like Truman said hold you finger over the end of the carto and take a few puffs and you should see bubbles rise each time you take a strong puff, do this several times to get the little wick saturated. Another possible cause is you are not getting the hole punched out good when you puncture it the first time, Make SURE you seat the tank ALL the way in and twist it to make sure it wont go any further down in the cone.

Liquid viscosity also has an effect on wicking, if your using a very thick liquid you might need to pull the wick down in the spike a tiny bit, and move it up with watery liquid. The wick on the C model is extremely easy to adjust, gently pry the wick plate from the atty, hold the spike with a pair of needle nose or whatever works to secure it, then with a set of tweezers move the with up or down as necessary, we're talking a tiny tiny bit.

One thing I've learned to do is take primer puffs, most of the time after a regular hit I'll take a primer puff or 2 and it's always ready for the next hit.

And if you haven't started using the silicone tank caps I suggest you get some ordered, their much more effective in preventing leaks and last way longer than the supplied hard plastic ones.

Another thing I've been doing for awhile with really good luck is pre-punching the silicone caps with a pen cartridge, it's just a fraction smaller in diameter than the spike and makes a very clean hole...that spike tears the cap and doesn't make a great seal, I've even gone so far as to filing the sharp edge off the spike tip, you can feel the cap getting hung up on occation when you push your tank down.

If this method of cap punching interests anyone I have a few more details, let me know, gotta run.

I do something similar to this as well. I typically keep inhaling for around a second or so after I let go of the button while taking a hit to do a quick prime for the next hit.

I've been using the same tank and silicon replacement cap for about 3 weeks now. Once in awhile I will get a dry hit on the first vape after a tank refill, but very rare. I fill 25-28 drops, and always leave about 1/8" inch empty at the top of the tank when I fill. Snap tank on firmly, and take 2-3 pulls on the mouthpiece without pressing the button on the battery.

I haven't used anything but the Atty spike to pierce tank caps. I've been using the "C" now for about 2 months, and probably vaped approx. 200 tank(fuls) to this point. I definitely like the soft silicone replacement tank caps better than the hard plastic one's that come w/ the tanks. But, I have a friend that is completely the opposite. he only uses the hard caps, and doesn't have any issues w/ wicking on those either.

So glad to read all these positive reports about the eGo-C!

I have been using the SR ego-T Type B's these past months and was so fed up of wasting so much time and money on these that I was thinking of quitting vaping altogether..yes..I am this much fed up! (I hate cartos since I have had only bad luck with these, and have been spoiled by tank systems so I am not ready to use carts with filler again)

I will try the eGo-C *very* soon, although I'm eagerly waiting for a Type B version of these. I hate the constant topping off the Type A tanks.

I am using Riva SE batteries only, due to their higher voltage over the eGo batts. TH is acceptable for me using SR atties on these.

So now I have a couple of questions:

1. Has anyone tried the eGo-C SR with a Riva battery? How does TH compare to an eGo-T Type B SR driven by a Riva SE battery?

2. Would using a Riva battery with the LR eGo-C cook the juice too much? Would it burn the juice and give the dreaded burnt tyre taste?

Only these questions are holding me off of ordering an eGo-C atty assembly, as I'm not ready to spend so much more on trying to find out what works best for me.

As I am leading a very busy lifestyle, cleaning a LR eGo-C atty every 3-4 days is a minus for me, so I prefer to read more and get it right the first time this time. If TH on the eGo-C SR is equal or better to TH on the eGo-T Type B, then I'm sold on the SRs.

Maintenance on the LR Atty is required only little faster for me than the SR Atty. I think you will like the TH on the LR "C" Atty's even using the standard Ego Batteries. The LR's really cook! :) I tried my REVA VV Bat's on the SR, but once I got the LR's I haven't used an SR Atty in 45 days now.

Duration between maintenance is going to depend on what kind of juice you are vaping. I wasn't messing with Atty's that had decreased performance for the first several weeks. I finally sat down, and went through several this week. I spent a total of an hour.... 6 of the 7 LR's came back 100%.

I am not sure how long it will take Joye to roll out "B" Cones/Tanks for the "C".. Because the Atty is independent of the cone in the "C", I would suggest putting up with the "A" tanks on the "C", until the "B"'s are released. The Pro's outweigh the Con's IMO.

I use the SE Rivas on my Decadent Vapour's 'Real Tab' flavor with an LR atty and it's the best taste without any burning of the ejuice. The SE's won't burn ejuice but they will wash out flavor with the lighter flavors.... best on those are the eGo batt with the SR atty.

So far I haven't experienced any burnt or discolored ejuice on the c's like one can on the t's. Just that wattage and flavor combos still hold - strong flavors like higher watts, light flavors like lower wattage. Even strong flavors do well on eGo batts and SR attys, just that some flavors - not all - will be enhanced with the SE/VV at higher volts or the LR or both.
