How many vaping hours are people getting out of cr123a's and can you use the disposable lithium ones in the precise? TENERGY CR123A Litium Battery
I am getting 7-8 hrs hrs out of my 3V Tenergy RCR123As @ 900mAh. The batteries you have listed will probably render about 13-15hrs before they require to be tossed. Not really cost effective, don't ya think.

Thanks switched, the reason for the lithium throwaways is for camping and vacation, I'd rather the throwaways than worrying about chargers in those situations. I'm really digging the P18 I've emailed David a few times but he's got no discount codes as of yet and I missed out on the preorder sale:(.
The V3 kit from puresmoker for 119.00 with charger and 4 batts is a steal. But the P18 is so beautiful. I'm going to hold off a bit before making my decision on which device to go with.

As far as I'm aware of, you are still able to pre-order the P18 and the price has not changed since initially announced.

Also, if you don't want to bother with chargers and rechargeable batts while camping, you could take two AW18650 batts with you and vape for about 4 days with LR atties, if you'd like.

They may perform the same basic function but they're really different animals. I could make car model analogies but you've heard them before.

I can't speak for Dave but I'd be surprised if he ever offered a discount code. He would in part be discounting his own personal labor that goes into each unit before it leaves the shop. The Precise is a precision, hand made device. The Puresmoker units are fine; certainly a cut above what comes out of China. However, they're made in relatively mass quantities to hit a price point. This necessitates somewhat looser tolerances.

Regarding batteries; No one's package deal includes AWs. If you're hesitant to just trust those of us here regarding their superiority, lurk a bit at the flashlight forums and see what the experienced users there say about them as well.

I agree the P18 looks wonderful and from everything I've read David's craftmanship is amazing. The price is high, but the demand for his products are also high. Believe me when I say that I'm salivating over the looks of this device but the dollars amount is preventing me from hitting the order button, that being said if I have to wait a month to save up then that's what I have to do.

I don't know anything about batteries and or which CR123a's are the best. I'm hoping that the disposable ones at the link I posted two or three posts back will also work. I will buy rechargeables but I'd like to know that I can buy off the shelf two.

I'm sure one will end up in Grimms hands for a review:)

Speaking for myself, I do hope that if/when this happens it is after all of those that paid and waited in line get theirs.
I know I wouldn't be a happy camper if someone that didn't pay got one ahead of those that paid and waited patiently for nine weeks.
Just my humble opinion.

Regards
Jim
