Just to chime in here, some people over the last year have talked about darkening juice and I've always suspected it's just heat. This has been confirmed by me in the last few weeks. Most of my liquids are completely clear, but after they are in my car all day (90+ degrees lately) they turn darker.. I had one bottle of green apple (completely clear) in my car for a week or so.. it's brown now.

so my guess is that some cartos are designed in such a way that the heat is funneled around the juice, like maybe the conical shape makes the heat concentrated or something, so one carto might turn a juice colors, but still be based on heat.

Just an uneducated guess...

That totally makes sense & I knew heat was a factor but my only exp was with the short wick versions & it seemed to me the taste declines considerably once it really gets to changing color
& even if I clean it, they never have that fresh new taste... Im talking about the stardust here...

However Im on my 3rd day with a Viva & it still taste really good, my juice has slightly gotten a tad darker but no where near the molasses it turns into in a stardust.

Bigger tank maybe? better heat distribution?

Probably so its wider & taller. It could quite possilbly be that the wicks are at the narroest portion of the stardust, being the viva is a solid cylinder all the way around they just dont get as hot. I never though of that before.

Do they get the funky darkening of juice affect like the stardust do afther the 1st initial fill? I just recently got my first Viva Nova & I like it pretty well so far. Just debating on either getting a few more or trying 1 of these. I like the stardust for about the first fill but after that I dont care for them at all. These look pretty cool.

Yes. That happens with all E2 style clearomizers.

Also, you may notice after you use one of the string cartos a bit, after you clean them, the wicks are stained dark up by where it enters the coil housing. The juice gets dark at the coil first, and as you tip these to what amounts to hundreds of times in use, the fresh liquid below ends up leaching the darker juice off of the wicks with what doesn't get absorbed each time dragging it back into the tank. Take a 3.5 ml size and the juice will darken by the time it gets to the end of the tank perhaps, and it seemingly will darken quicker each time as the wicks are getting more gunked up.

Some juices taste better as they become more concentrated in this way and some juices seem to become more impervious to heat in this semi-gelatinous state, and although the tank may be empty, it will be hitting and tasting way better than they ought to by that point. I have a cone that conceals the bottom 1/4 of my vision and I am surprised often that it is still fogging with clean vapor while visibly empty. As odd, is that the same clearo would have had to be tipped while there was still cleaner, more fluid juice in it to keep from getting dry hits.

The first person that invents an E-liqui-gel and a system in which to deliver it will have discovered vaping Mecca IMO.

They put more silicone on the lower connectors to prevent shorting
Note that is not a gap, it's the flash making the metal part look white.

That's good to know that they improved the connectors so liquid won't go down inside. Between the juice fogging my screen on the inside from juice getting inside and the broken battery door and cracked side from dropping it I think this one can go out to someone that wants to use it for parts. I'll just start over with the improved pink rubberized one and hope my luck is better.

If anyone wants my black rubberized one send me a PM. I'm sure it can be cleaned up and epoxy used on the crack and to keep juice from dripping down the opening and a new door from Eric would make it new again. I just can't do that kind of stuff and would rather give it to someone that could fix it and get some use out of it.

That is good to know Eric. I will pick another one up on my next order.
Are you going to get any of the ego clearos that use the Vivi Nova coil head?

do you mean the Vision 2.0? If so, yes, I have those coming.
I have a very large order from Vision... 13 days now waiting :(

New Apollo Tanks and Tank Tubes are here at a much lower cost.

I got them yesterday but wanted to test them first.

I filled them up with pure PG being the thinest liquid. No leaks on any of them.
Obviously this ins't a guarantee against them leaking, as soon as you tighten them down center posts can move and all that but the tests so far seem really good.

Also.. LOWER Price. MUCH lower, I am now in line with any other vendor selling them.
I was able to leverage my original cost with the new cost, so they are ALL cheaper, batteries, kits, tanks and tubes.

sadly they did not include my replacement innards so I am running really low on those.

I also wanted opinions on batteries and a special tank. Should I carry these? I am gauging demand, I'd rather not order a ton and be stuck with them.

a Monster tank, here it is next to the Apollo standard:

and I have one sample of all the battery colors:

I can't afford to stock all colors in all sizes so I am curious if this would be something you all are interested in.
