Protank is still a little airy for me. Having said that, I am getting use to it. I started noticing more that the flavor was muted. I removed the top wick (PT head), and now it not only tastes great, but has more GIANT clouds of vapor! (I have it on an eVic at 7watts). I'm happy now. :)

I'm not Mama but I want to say that I now like my Protank now that I got the air control thing. Are you going to be carrying this?

Also, I was tasting metal with my DIY strawberry so I switched to my DIY Pineapple Marshmallow and don't taste the metal now but it's a bit muted. I'll have to make a stronger batch for the protank. That's silica for you. :( Anyway, I like this tank better than any of the other fiber material rba's I've tried. :)

Try removing just the top wick (there are a couple extras on top of the coil). That's what I did, and it made all the difference. :)

Yeah I did that but didn't notice any difference in flavor but thanks. :)

No, I've heard that from other people but I just don't taste any difference. I'll just add more flavoring to my Protank juice. :)
I was playing today just to "see" sumptin. I took the 2 "floating top flavor wicks" out of the head and replaced them with a single piece of silica wick cut LONGER then the original wicks. Just experimenting to see if the longer wick would change anything as far as supplying the juice or change the taste for the coil...

*When Screwing the head back onto the tank, be careful to make sure the longer thread is INSIDE the tank and not in the threads of the connector*
Now this prolly is all in my imagination and makes no sense but, I did in fact see a taste difference. Is it possible that people are getting lack of flavor on some juices cuz the wick is too short ? I have no idea. I DO know some juices taste weak in the protank and some taste great in the protank.
I just wanted to show this and throw it out there in case anyone wants to try it.

Okays, Carry On....Carry On....

Thanks for that experiment. I'll give that a try when I change wicks although I already made some stronger flavored juice just for the Protank.

I'd love to hear if you find this makes a difference for ya TM :) Sometimes I do things just to see then I dunno if in fact my results actually werk or not for everyone.:laugh: Sides, making stronger juice is prolly easier :laugh:

Actually adding a long wick is easier than making special juice just for the Protank. These wicks last quite awhile so it might be awhile before I give this a try.
