Eric are you going to order any of the new Go-Go M1 tanks that are similar to the MT3-s? Also will the ProTank bases be back in stock soon? Thanks:)

Thanks for mentioning this, I wasn't aware of go-go bases for MT3. I will see what I can do. If these are actually from Kanger I will see if I can get the base

ProTank II is in stock:

Kanger ProTank II - Clear Glass

The Kanger ProTank II offers the same great features and performance as the Kanger ProTank but now has removable parts and a removable drip tip.
The Protank II is 510 threaded and will work on all 510 threaded devices and Mod's without the need for an adapter.

Features:
Replaceable Atomizer Heads (can be used with eVod coils or vice versa see note below)
Bottom Coil for better performance from your eliquid
Removable and replacable Pyrex Glass Tank for protection from harsh liquids
Capacity is 2.5ml but it can hold up to 3ml if you fill it at less of an angle.
Comes with 2.5ohms coils
Uses the same coils and base as the original ProTank

Please Note: This is the NEW Protank that comes completely apart, please see the pictures for a parts list.
Also, let the ProTank sit for a moment after filling, a minute first to let the liquid get to the coil. Not allowing it to sit can cause a burned coil.

Includes:
1 ProTank II
1 ProTank Base (uses the same base as the original protank)
2 ProTank Coils (uses the same coils as the original protank)
1 Drip Tip
1 Cardboard/plastic box to store the tank.

Dimensions: 49.55mm Height (without drip tip) x 18.35mm Diameter

Eric's Notes:
Please be careful with this tank, it is made of glass and can shatter and break if dropped. Breakage of the tank is not warrantied, the glass tops can be purchased (soon)
Also, the eVod and ProTank coils are interchangable Also, Kanger has shipped these as 2.5ohms and they should both be 2.5ohm coils, but occasionally Kanger swaps them without the vendor knowing.
The coils are not warrantied, ohms are not exchangable.

Eric's Review:
LOVE It. Great improvement with the removable drip tip and the ability to fix a broken glass tank, I will also have the replacement glass shortly. That said, if you do not wish to fiddle with the parts and do not mind the original ProTank tip, then this isn't an "upgrade" for you, I prefer the original because the drip tip is permanent, but now you have the option! :) It uses the same base as the original so be carefull with this, it is top heavy and needs to be handled with care, there have been a lot of ProTank bases that have snapped. Do not keep it attached to your battery when not in use, do not store it in a pocket or puse attached to the battery.

My review for the forum here is that I like it, I do, I did seem to get a bad coil in one though. I opened two of them (for personal use) and one ProTank out of the box is stellar, the other had the bad coil, so I suggest you have extra coils on hand in case it happens to you.

Update: Ok so before I hit "submit" on this post I picked up the "bad" one again and it seems to be fine. I think the new parts of the ProTank might require this to sit a while longer than usual? Not sure but it's tastes fine now. :)

Regarding Coil Heads

I am out of the labeled "ProTank" 2.5 ohms for now (comes in the black box) , but will have them coming in a day or so. BUT the "eVod/ProTank" coil is the same thing (in the white box), so technically I do have 2.5 coils, they are just labeled "Evod/ProTank coil" instead of "ProTank coil"

I have had a few people tell me that the white boxed are not the same thing since Kanger started shipping the longer stem coils but I have put them side by side and I cannot see any difference. I hate to say it's in someones head, but I can't see a difference between the two but still will withhold my opinion on it.

If someone see's a real difference I can look for between the two please let me know.

Also, as with anything that is new and in demand, we will do our best to get all orders out on the same schedule as usual but if this gets crazy... it might not go out as fast as normal.

I just got mine today. It's called the m1 and seems like a larger evod basically(I don't have any experience with mt3s)

It came with 2.5 heads and I was hoping evod/protank heads would fit so I could use my usual 2.2. They didn't fit. The metal deck that the wick sits on is slightly smaller than the M1 coil. I'm hoping the t3s replacement coils will work.

I asked a Kanger rep and she said they do not make those, so from what she is telling me, they are not a Kanger original Go-go product just something that was made to fit the go-go.

Well crap...I was hoping to be able to get the coils cheaper from you. I was really hoping they were kanger. The heads even had the ohms engraved on them.

Also just ordered a protank 2, thanks for getting them up so quick.

Edited to add more info on the M1:

I was excited for a second because the protank screwed on to the M1 base when I tried real quick without the coil. When I added a coil head though it didn't work. So close!

Unless they aren't telling me the truth (or the rep simply doesn't know) , they aren't kangers :(
They did this to me before though on the go-go twists, said they didn't make them, then "oh yea, we make that"

That said, if it's not firing it's probably not.

Gormly,

How does the new ProTank vape in your opinion? Would you say that it is better, the same or worst than the original ProTank and the eVod?

Thanks.

seems to be the same, the coils are the same, so I can't imagine it being any different, the only issue is that I had to let it sit for a while before using. Once I did that it was like my original protank, I went back and forth on original/new, no real difference.

hey eric I read the new protank bases are stronger than the original ones and was wondering if the replacement bases you sell are the reinforced ones if that's even a thing. I ordered a few from you about a month ago and was curious if they are stronger. I haven't bent any of the new ones yet but I don't notice any difference in the new one from the original ones.

I do not know, they look the same to me and I just got these, they are the latest ones. I haven;t heard of any improvements (that doesn't mean they didn't make improvement)

Hi Calpis,
Will check and let you know asap!
Thanks!

Edit:

Hi Calpis,

Looks like there aren't any coupon codes for the rebuildable tank you mentioned. Sorry about that!

Thanks for asking though.

Got my Protank II's today, thanks Eric!

Quick comparison to the original...
The Protank II is very slightly shorter due to the removable drip tip. (maybe 1 or 2 mm)
The other dimensions seem to be the same but due to the bracket inside the Protank II, it hold's slightly less juice. The bracket is what the air tube screws into and holds the whole thing together.
The base seems to be identical to both the original and the spares. My guess is that the new stronger base might be on the Protank mini but I can't confirm this since Eric sold out before I got one.
I did not have to let the juice soak in before vaping, using 70/30, no dry hits from the start.
The coil it came with is measuring 2.7, I've not tested the others.
Vaping experience seems to be identical between the two.
After half a tank, and a head rush, :vapor: no leaks and does not look like any will develop.

I like being able to use my own knuckle drip tip! If you don't like metal tips, then grab the Protank II for sure.
That's all I can think of, either way, they are both awesome!

not currently, need to let it sit for a while as is, sorry. If I buy a bunch more I will, this is a test of demand, I didn't buy many, if some sell I will buy a lot and cost average and offer a code :)

if you buy it and I offer a code later you can contact me for a store credit on it.
