So, I know you're all itching for info on our upcoming "mystery" product line. We finished the initial development phase at the end of July, and have been through several rounds of samples, evaluation, bug identification, and bug fixes since then.
By the last couple rounds of samples we were most of the way there. They worked perfectly 90% of the time, but the manufacturer I was working with just did not seem to be able to take it that final 10% and give me the 100% absolute reliability I insist on. Also, once I started to get larger and larger batches of battery samples, I discovered that they were also not capable of the kind of consistent high quality of manufacturing that smaller batches gave the impression of.
That just wasn't good enough. Nothing less than 100% reliable operation, and consistently high quality is acceptable. This is going to be a revolutionary product, and I don't want it to be like so many other devices out there that are great when they work right, but don't work right all the time. I want it to simply work, every time.
So, we've moved the project to our MaxXFusion manufacturer, who as I have said many times before is the absolute best quality manufacturer in the business, in my wide and extensive experience.
Also, we recently partnered with the marketing and design firm Addiction, and we're having them take a second look at the appearance of the devices, to have them put a more professional and contemporary spin on my own exterior form factor designs.
Unfortunately, these direction changes will push back our completion date yet again, to early to mid first quarter 2013, but the final product will be better for it. And for something truly game changing like this will be, ya gotta take the time to do what ya gotta do to get it 100% right the first time.
At the same time I've been working on a few smaller projects.
We will have our Bloog big battery model coming out soon, in time for Xmas shopping. I've been evaluating various mods and features, but in the end we decided to go with a basic model that will simply work and provide Bloog's usual high level of vaping satisfaction every time.
Also in time for Xmas shopping, we'll have a couple of custom leather accessories made to my design that I will tell you more about soon, which will make great stocking stuffers for the vapers on your Xmas list.
And for our Trifecta fans, I've been working on an improved and upgraded Trifecta to be made by our MaxXFusion manufacturer, as well as a big battery, 650mAh version of the Trifecta, the MaxXTrifecta. If all goes well those will be coming out early next year.
