Most if not all PV's Use a pulsed DC or a tight square wave. If it is close enough to the audio spectrum there could be a harmonic that you will hear on some poorly protected audio stuff or even hear it with out it. They call it RFI. Radio Frequency Interference.
Do you have a good ground on that TV and are you using shielded cables.
I use to have a hearing aid that was called a cross-aid. On side had a transmitter and the other side a receiver. I had to turn it off at airports and at work because the RF from the computers was getting picked up.
This may help. I doubt that anything is wrong with it.

Never experienced that with mine. I'd think about sending it in to make sure nothing is wrong with it.

The problem is most likely in the tv. Poorly grounded or unshielded cables.. I use to be a ham radio operator and we had to contend with this all the time. Probably nothing wrong with it.

Unless you get E8 errors or some other kind of error I think it is ok.

Yeah - its a Dynex 720p one from Best buy plugged straight in so probably unshielded. It's not going to stop me using it -just found it quite interesting

I run some seriously ....ty computer speakers at work and haven't had any issues (my cell makes them go nuts). I still think it'd at least be worth it to shoot Pro vape an email and see what they have to say.

I have one that used to do that every once in a while if I turn the voltage down or change the carto/atty it would resolve it, Provape said it was normal for the chip and was surprised i could hear it but every since it came back from it's V2 upgrade and it doesn't do it any more. Strigio is right jet them an email it never hurts to ask and they always answer pretty quick

Inductors can emit audible noise when they are running close to there current limit. Similar to high power electrical lines if you are standing close to them.

Most circuits are designed to operate at over 22,000Hz as that is the highest pitch that most humans can hear. Even then, there can be some amount of audible resonance (think electrical vibration) when the conditions are right. In most cases, as you have found, turning down the voltage or switching atty's can make the problem go away.

There is a cause and effect to everything, unshielded or poorly grounded cables on the TV will not cause the Provari to emit an audible noise, but the opposite is very likely.

i just picked up a V2 - i have this issue as well. I can actually hear a very high pitch when i vape it....kind of annoying - i will swap out to a different atty when i can get off my lasy .... The Provari is absolutely awesome...i cant believe i waited so long to get one.

i am having this issue too. I realized it is happening on voltages > 4.5 on a 2.8 OHMS Penelope! Annoying like hell. Should i email them or assume it is normal and get on with it. I think I am only hearing it because usually other attys have the noise of vaporization higher.

I had this happen to me too, for me cleaning the threads and making sure the end cap is screwed tight works. i can make it whistle at any time by slightly unscrewing the cap and pressing the button.. such a great device tho just ordered a mini black with blue led :) i had silver with red to save money but now i know i love the provari
