Could maybe we get a summary of what the list editor on duty needs to do? i know scan for updates and add them to the list, but which list? etc (i *think* this is what atty means by cross training, but i'm not sure)

that's the list...

i'm asking for a simple set of directions for the keeping of the list...

1. check for updates and reschedules
2. add to the main list (whis's sticky)
3. mind the brackets and formatting

what else?

Tibs I think your smart in keeping a current list in BWB...in case a rotation editor messes up we can always copy the one in BWB
back over here until they get sure of what they are doing...This is going to be rough at the begining andI am not up for doing a bunch of corrections everytime a mistake is made..no offence to anyone

yes, it'll take us awhile to get a rhythm

if you want me to take the first new rotation sun July 8- Fri July 6th, then give me nice clear specifics in a linear order... :)

couple of general guidleines i'd like to suggest...

see what you think?

...no chit chat in the stickies- those are the "final" working lists
...only close your own threads and respect closed threads
....when referring to other threads, try to be specific about the thread title. (i'm already getting lost about which thread is which, and the more threads we have the more important that could be)

Okay Ces, When you have something of which needs editing on the list, Tibs or I can walk you through how its done...walk thru's to me are better than a bunch of words in a post...but thats just the way I do things...Tibs??

yup - but we also need clear instructions of what has to be done in a first post in rotation thread - then we can do walk thrus as needed

I kind of need words in a post....

1. check for updates and reschedules
2. add to the main list (whis's sticky with the completed thread)
3. mind the brackets and formatting
4. check on times and dates for turning - nat will be your back up! (thanks Nat!!)

are we editing the list IN whis's sticky, or will there be a list editing thread and replacement of the posted list in Whiskey's list sticky, or making a new post with the latest update of the list? ( will editing the first post in whis's sticky be an exception to not editing other's posts?)

(i read j0ker's guidelines.....:) )

whis' sticky will be the home of the list from now on - no change can be made as to location. classy will add times there, link has already been sent!!!!!!

Ces, No need for an addition thread...the one in sticky is to be edited...too many list threads flying around the forum, IMO

OK. so edit that single post forever till the end of the year....and that thread is the exception to j0ker's guideline that we don't edit each others' threads?
