Well I have double ought (00) and triple ought (000)
I honestly think I used the double ought on mine .... the triple is finer yet.
Either one should work. You have to fold it around a lot and try to use a new spot on the wool ever few swipes.
I used long straight swipes right down the mod.
I would use 0000 first. I had to get some last winter to clean my sons deer rifle, he had let it get wet/dry/wet/dry. It took all of the rust spots that were starting right off and did not harm the blueing. I used wd40 on the pad to help clean the rust spots. I will try it on a Reo tonight if I get brave.

If you really have a set of balls. Check out Anodizing for the DIY crowd I'm not recommending this be done, just thought the information was interesting and wanted to share.
