Hello everyone,

I am now the proud owner of a pre-owned Reo Mini! Please excuse me in advance but I have never had or used a Reo Mini before and I have a couple questions for those more experienced Reo owners.

I just received it in the mail today and was examining it prior to trying it out. I noticed that on the inside of the battery cavity at the top there is a channel and up inside that channel is a metal piece that comes down and makes contact with the top of the battery. It looks like the top button pushes down on this "metal tab" causing the tab to make contact with the battery.

I noticed while pushing the button that this metal tab has a bend near the end of it curving down to sort of a point. So I am guessing this pointed end is what makes contact with battery? Is that correct? Is this the normal shape for this metal tab or should it be more flat?

I also noticed there is a coat of a grey paste on this tab. I think it is probably noalox but just wanted to know if that is the normal area to lube it with noalox.

Thanks in advance,

It should look like this, and yes that is where the Noalox should be placed!

All I can say is WOW.....fast responses. Now I know why they say that Reonaughts are a great helpful bunch!

A big Thanks to six, lostknitter, nerak, whatitstrue and Jeann.

@nerak that pic was very helpful indeed. Good to know that my Mini is just as it should be. After reading all your replies I did a cleaning on it, loaded it with juice and it seems to be working properly.

Now I just need to figure out what atties to buy for the my Reo?

@whatitstrue, I will post a pic as soon as I figure out how to add the pic to my post.

Thanks again to everyone. I am sure I will come back with some more questions as I go along.

Ohhh the usual suspects. Cisco's. Do have the I06 options and the AVA with the lip now.

Thought you could hide here huh? Lol

Ah you found me Andy
Thanks for the suggestions. I'm using a Cisco LR 306 to begin with. Also have a couple Aero 1.5's to try. Have not tried I06 or AVA yet. May have to order some.

Didn't like the Aero to begin with...threw it in the cup with other attys that needed cleaning... Cleaned them this past weekend and somehow when I took one out to check resistance (and it was the correct 1.5 that I like on my mini's) and put it on my mini, it was the Aero...It's been vaping volumes of vapor and I like it much better than I did now than when I first got it. I had bought 2 and one died within 15 minutes so I was not counting on this one being any good at all, but it appears that I was mistaken. Takes awhile for them to "tighten" up some- they are too loose to begin with.

Had a couple for a couple of months now and have been performing admirably.

Can get a bit spitty but flavour and vapor are pretty good.

Have to say after that I do like the 306 a tad more for flavour.

Guess in fairness I should add that I got the Cisco 306's the same order as the Aeros. They both died this week.
