Okay... let's start with the atty. Because it fires on the Provari doesn't necessarily mean that it isn't the problem. My first suggestion is to try another atty.

Have you metered the battery?

Just so you know, the reason why we are asking all these questions and not focusing on the bottle or the door is because the bottle & door should have no effect on how the mod fires.

Okay, so it's not the battery...and not the atty. My guess is there is probably a break in the gasket in the connector. It happens...not often, but it does. Your mod is under warranty, so it will be fixed. Normally I would tell you to contact Rob, but he is out of town until tomorrow.

You can reach Rob in the following ways. You can PM through ECF at redeyedancer. You can email him at reo@reosmods.com. And you can call him (after he returns) at 207-490-9783. He will ask you to send it in....make sure you include a note describing what is happening. Repairs are his top priority, so when he receives it he'll fix it right away and get it back to you quickly.

His shipping address is:
REOMODS, LLC
120 Ida Jim Rd
Alfred, Maine 04002

Here is a picture of the part I'm referring to...

Now, I could be wrong ....way wrong...but this is my best guess. Anyone else have any ideas?
*edit...based on more information given, i don't think this is it.

I hate to admit it but, more than once, I've had mine not fire and when I checked it the button had turned to the safe position. So, you might want to check.

Yep, did that too. It was not turned and depressing fine.
At the moment it is working. If I re position the battery it seems to be fine. It is like you have to find that one certain spot for it to work.

Here are a couple other suggestions to try while waiting to contact Rob.

First...when it's not firing, is the button going all the way down like it normally would?

Also, with the door off, remove the juice bottle and grab the feed tube at the top where it connects to the nipple and push upwards gently. Then try it again.

You can also run a nail file on the positive battery contact...and see if that helps.

I know this may sound a little weird, but you could wrap a piece of electrical tape around the the battery and see if that helps keep the battery in position. You could also, remove the atomizer...then with the battery in place, mash the button down just once, hard.

The last resort I would suggest is removing the atty, battery and juice bottle, flush your mod with really hot water, blow dry...or let dry. Reapply a small dab of Noalox (you should have received a small smear of it in a little baggy) on the tip of the positive battery contact. I don't think this would be necessary, but if it helps...that's all that matters.

I still think, given the circumstances that you will need to talk to Rob, and possibly send it back to him for repair.

Tube moved up slightly, maybe 1/32" hitting like a champ now!!:)
I will keep an eye on this and see if that was the fix.
THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR HELP!!!
