Here are pics of my Reo LP with a reomizer 4. I have a Protank II style drip tip...for now. The drip tips tend to get pretty warm so I'll prob get a longer one or a ceramic one. Something that cools off more quickly.

I'm still on the fence regarding the reomizer 4. I've tried various coil/wick configurations and have yet to find "The One" for me.

Looks good bozz. I made two 1.1ohm coils and am at .5ohms with Rayon. I had to trim my first wicks and now I'm getting fantastic vapor but it's more than a few steps down from the RM2 in flavor. And it gets warm! I'm going for a .8ohm set up next. I can mouth to lung hit this just fine by adjusting the AF ring to half closed on the small dual setting. Wide open gives a massive lung hit and tons of vapor which is not really my style. It's a work in progress for sure.

I honestly can't put my finger on the issue. I've had decent success with a single coil setup as long as I keep the impedance below 1.5. It seems like anything above that takes a bit for the coil to heat.

The dual coil setup I tried (final impedance was 1.6ohm) didn't produce much vapor at all. It seemed like I had to hold the button for 5+ seconds just to get the coils to heat.

I plan on getting some new batteries soon so maybe that will help. (I'm currently using Panasonic NCR18650a 3100 mAH batteries.)

I was going to get the RM2 but opted for the RM4 due to the potential for dual coil setups. I also like the idea of the adjustable airflow. The adjustable airflow is nice but takes a bit to set the way you like it.

If the RM2 is THAT much better for flavor, I should have gotten one along with the RM4.

BTW, what do you mean by "small dual setting" when referring to the AF ring??

If your net resistance with a dual setup is 1.6ohm, that's a lot of wire to heat up (2 3.2ohm coils?), thus the lag to get vapor (no matter the battery). Dual setups that most folks enjoy in the RM4 are more like .5 - .8 ohms net (2 x 1.0-1.6ohm). Believe me, in that range you won't find heat-up lag or lack of vapor.

As far a flavour goes, smaller chamber atties like the RM2, RM3, or IGO-S will generally provide more (in my experience).

With dual coils I rotated the AF ring to show both small air holes open and then rotated it further to show 1/2 of the small air holes restricting it even more. I can try to post a pic tomorrow if it's not clear.

Get an RM2, there's a reason they are always recommended. You can always put it on your next Reo.

In retrospect, I believe my final build was 1.3. Either way, it was a LOT of wire.

I'm currently using a single 1.2 ohm coil. Vapor production was good initially but then it tapers off considerably. Even with a fresh battery. I think it has something to do with my wick setup.

I don't have mine with both wick ends in the "sauce". It's tough to do with the limited space in the RM4. I guess I need to get creative and try to get both wick ends in the liquid.

Now that I've gotten the "squonking" thing down and have learned the nuances of using the Reo with the RM4 - I LOVE them! I can't wait for my Samsung batteries to arrive so I can try this out with a .6 dual coil setup.

I was a little concerned at first but now realize it was newbie user error that was causing the problems.
