My mom was a professional pianist and had a Master's in organ performance...almost a savant, if you will...so I completely understand your analogy.

never really got the "feel" of an organ..it's a special talent..especially a big pipe organ with all the delay and such. It takes a high degree of concentration to focus on what one is playing as opposed to what one is hearing...and the analogy re. the drunk fat guy is a composite of actual experiences..lol
