New Reonaut from Italy

Hi all, I've already posted here in Reoville because I already knew I would have done what I just made (I already felt a citizen here, I was just waiting for a blem with my colors). I've just ordered a LP Reo Grand Black Wrinkle / Metallic Red blem on Reosmods.com. So I will be the number 169 Reonaut here in Italy! I choose the standard shipment, do you have an idea on how long will it take to arrive here in the EU? I can't wait (but I couldn't also pay for the express shipment, I'm unemployed during summer...).

I took along with the reo a couple of springs, a couple of bottle cap o'rings, and the delrin button cover. I hope I've all that's necessary for the moment. I will use the Reo with my Spiral (that's a fantastic atom for bf, I use now on a 883 by Nipples tree), perhaps in the next future I will try some reomizers or bigger dripping attys.

@Rickajho unluckily it seems that nobody on the Italian forum know about the flat rate shipping, they all had their REOs with the express one!

@Papa_Lazarou I live in Rome now, but I grew up in the South (near Naples).

@dragoi90 Nice to meet you! We are neighbors... but I think you also choose the express delivery method for having your Reo in a week.

I have some questions for you:

Has anybody tried to put an ebaron dripper pro (the one designed for the provari) on a Reo LP? I own both a dripper pro, and a spiral, so I could leave the spiral on the 883 and use the pro on the Reo.

Do you suggest to remove the painting under the spring, and apply some noalox for better conductivity? Or that's not useful with the new sub-ohm contacts that I should have on my Reo?

I send a picture of the bases of my two dripper. You can see that the dripper pro (the one on the left) has the positive pin a little protruding, while the spiral (on the right) is perfectly aligned. The both make correct contact on my pvs, but which position do you think is more correct to avoid shorts on the Reo?

Think about ordering the Reomizer 2, I believe it is such a great match and outstanding performer with the Reo, it's just the best combo I've tried. I've customized attys and some work about as well, but the RM2 is just "right" with the Grand LP's and I keep coming back to it.

Average transit time is 7-10 working days to here from the US east coast.
Breath.... A REO is 100% worth the wait.

I'm sorry, no; I always ordered with express shipping and in the most fortunate cases were enough 5 trip days, I have no idea with the other shipping formula.

I read the good friend Antidoto in the Italian forum; with the friends we are trying to cheer him up and we are rooting along with him for a quick trip... the time elapse quickly!

To prepare yourself and your arm muscles for your Reo, may I suggest holding a stack of playing cards in one hand while holding a glass of fine Italian wine in the other. Now, raise the glass of wine to your lips and sip, then with the other hand mimic vaping with the other hand. Repeat this process every minute or less. You will be in Reoville in no time at all.
