Currently vaping a ProVari topped with either an IBTanked carto tank or Igo-L. Can't say I'm disappointed in any of them, but I've come to really like dripping and it's a bit inconvenient when you're on the go - squonking seems like a much better idea. I also spend a lot of time on/around water and I'm sure the Grand would survive a swim much better than the ProVari would!
Yep, running a micro with cotton in the Igo now, but at 2.4 Ω. I'm gonna shoot for around 1.6 Ω on the RM2, should put me in the neighborhood of where I want to be. I read Super_X_Drifter's micro thread until it was burned into the insides of my eyelids before I got the Igo and went straight to cotton in a micro coil. Real happy with it, so I'm not gonna fix what ain't broke!Well I came from almost the exact same scenario, just a different carto tank. This is like having a perfectly made Igo, but with an all-day drip. With a microcoil and some cotton..... vaping bliss
30ga Kanthal, 8 wraps, meters at 1.6 Ω. Took me 3 tries to get it exactly how I wanted it to be, but it looks like a good 'un. I also went to RTD and ordered 3 more 18650s (1600 mAh, the ones I have for the ProVari are 2000 mAh) and 100 feet of Kanthal wire. Come on Friday!!!
Definitely will do. I'll have to break out the camera with macro function for pics of the coil - the iPhone camera just doesn't do the trick on those close-up shots. That way I can also look at the picture and confirm the number of wraps - I don't have a magnifier yet and even with reading glasses it's a lost cause trying to count them!
