New roughstack maxi paintjob.

Here it is fellas, debated on weather or not to post this one up ( took all of 1 hour to do ).
In the future, i will take a full day on each project. I really wanted this thing painted from the "unfinished" rock tumbler aluminum look. So, here she is!

What type of paint did you use? I have a friend that does powder coating and I'm thinking about letting him try it on a battery.

actually....
regular old krylon fusion.
Went over the outer surface with hard as nails enamel. next one i do up will have a pewter devil face i found on a zippo modification site.

I do want to remind you all that this was done in an extreme rush, and i hope to post a proper job soon.

Im guessing you already know this, but just incase you didnt, Only do that on a mod with no electronics, batteries, etc in it.

Powder coating involves baking at high heat which would destroy electronics.

Great looking job. I bought the Maxi RS with the intention of doing something like that but quickly decided my painting skills weren't there so I got the Gold Rush.

Thanks for the comments folks, but alas i had to chip all of it off and try again.
You may or may not be able to tell ( a photographer i am not ), but this thing was really, really, really quickly done. I could not stand the coments everyone kept making ( "nice of you to let your kid paint on your pv" ).
This newest job took around 2 hours to do up, and i will post pics as soon as it is dry.

I think i found a nack in custom paint jobs! More to come.

By the way, Rannox makes a good point for other folks with the same idea out there, DO NOT bake your mod.

It looks great! I've never been satisfied with the looks of my mini roughstack, and I want to try something like this (but not so elaborate, I know what my artistic skills are like)
