I've ordered replacements for both, but it's frustrating! I was doing my initial parts wash, and completely forgot about those little plastic pieces. They both went down the drain when I rinsed. To make it worse, this happened on separate washings... you'd think I would have been extra careful on the second when I lost the first. I'm getting old...

My question for the experts here: Are these things going to explode in my face if I can't wait for the parts to come in the mail? No, really... what can go wrong if I don't use the insulators?

Of course I would lose the one part that they don't include in the spare parts bag that comes with them...

They won't work without the insulator. You are talking about the flat white plastic piece that sits under the positive block on the deck? Yeah, without that piece, the deck is shorted. Sorry, but I'm afraid you will have to wait.

I was afraid of that... just needed someone to confirm. Oh well...

if you're handy with scissors you can make one. I've made a few now. I've used plastic from a binder, and rubber from an old carto top. You just need to create a layer between the post section so it doesn't touch the base.

Thanks! I'll give it a try... I don't think I can wait until next week!
