Not sure how many of you have noticed on Wayne's site, but he will not carry the RN style atomizers once his current stock is depleted; and he won't guarantee the remaining RN atomizers that he's selling.

I ordered on Sunday and received (with a Chinese Holiday on Monday, so order didn't ship until Tuesday) today, 10 new flat black DSE 801 Atomizers and 2 Flat Black 801 batteries. So far, the atomizers are 100% compatible with the 2 USB passthroughs I bought from BestEcig, as well as with the David Yang 801 Battery/charger, and visa versa. Everything is fitting together nicely. I'll also say that the flat black is pretty sharp. I like it. The mesh bridge is nice and high with a very fine mesh. And I'm loving the new rubber mouthpieces. This actually draws easier and smoother than the David Yang 4 hole atomizer that I have. I love it. To be honest, I can't tell you how many holes it has because I can't even see them, unlike with the David Yang and the one I have from Beci (which is clearly a two hole). However, because they are DSE I will assume they are two hole until otherwise informed. In either case, Great Draw.

I sort of wish I had ordered more than 10 of them. I'm definitely having an obsessive compulsion to hoard as much as I possibly can at the moment.

I don't think I'll ever get used to or like the atomizer primer...nasty stuff!

Hello everyone I too get my supplies from Wayne at heaven gifts, very good prices and great service. I got an RN4072 atomizer to try it out and it rocks!! maybe it will die soon but so far it outperforms the 801 in vapour production. The heating coil is very loosely wound compared to the 801 looks had wound to me.

The 801's do have 4 holes they are on the inside rim between the metal battery connector and the cart tube but are very small.

To be honest I find the RN's tighter draw more satisfying but I always puffed my analogues using mouth pressure before inhaling, direct inhaling is much better with the 4 holes.

Also to note is Waynes new 801 batteries are very good, reliable and ultra responsive yet mechanical switches. They also run strong right up till they die and the cut off takes AGES. Mine charge in under two hours.

Wayne will be stoking the M-series very soon, when that happens he will be my one-stop-shop. Already he has 36mg DSE brand e-liquid for $8US per 30ml.

I do agree that the bridge is too high, I have cut a notch out of the middle of the wool stuffing wide enough for the wick to fit snuggly into. This seems to boost the wicking performance a lot as you want wool near or touching the wool surrounding the element, this is where the bridge draws liquid.

I also melted a hole in the middle using a piece of wire heated over a gas stove flame (Dry wool of course) Worked equally as well.

That's pretty cool, I've been thinking about trying out the M401.

Regarding the batteries, what's with the green light blinking all the time? I fully charged a new battery, started using it and ten minutes into it, the green light started. Then it would blink every so often 5 to 7 times. It wasn't losing charge or anything, just a green blinking light.

Personally, I like the high bridge, that way I know I have solid contat with the cart stuffing.

I just placed an order, and was wondering when I could expect delivery. Just a "Ball Park" figure.

Did you use the more expensive EMS shipping, or the standard shipping?

I made two orders within a day apart from each other using both options. The EMS shipment arrived in Texas 4 days from the shipping date. The standard shipping arrived about a week and a half later.

The green LED is new for these batteries. The blinking for 10 seconds means that you have drawn for too long (5 seconds I think is the cutoff) This designed to prevent you overheating the coil and burning the liquid and also to prevent battery damage from too much current drain (Li ion batteries can explode if drained too quickly!!)

The older model 801 batteries had the same thing but the regular orange LED blinked. If it blinks green and then won't light up orange the battery needs charging

Can you please explain in detail how you made the hole in the stuffing? Also, where on the cartridge did you make a hole? I am experiencing the same problem - the stuffing is getting pushed back.

Btw the new batteries are amazing, one of them is lasting almost a full day. I had switch problems with the other one and Wayne was kind enough to send me a replacement right away. The throat hit is the other great thing, most of the time is stronger then I can take, so I don't inhale all the vapor. This is definitely a very good device! :)
