I find it interesting that all previous reactions to posts are gone except for the likes. Now, we each have some sort of algorithm that creates a level score with an XP factor, whatever that is.

There’s even a leaderboard.

Is this designed to be even more of Skinner’s Box than ecf was previously?

While the ability to paste in a gif is back, animated gifs don't work, they seem to come in as static images, not animations.

The original avatar was made to fit the allotted size of the square space . . . Now it is a smaller size circle overplayed the box . . . Also - the "Online" icon sits right on top of the avatar obscuring the image, instead of in a corner.

This happen before with the newer versions of ECF when they changed the format before . . . Thankfully we still had the ability to change back to the older interface. And - NO - I do not have access to the original image to try and make any adjustents. Maybe ECF can change the avatar "box" back to a square . . . Just a thought . . .

I can let the team know about this! Unfortunately, we weren't able to retain the old interface because we upgraded the forum software to a new version, this version having large changes that are not compatible with the old theme. Sorry about that!

How can The Big Green Grin be Gone? It is, well, an Icon of Forum Life.

It would be like getting rid of the LOL or the Face Palm Guy.

Can't something be done again to revert back to the square format instead of the circle as ECF did when the format was changed last time. I already checked "XenoFourm" website and it seems it can be done by ECF even with the new interface too.

@alexj-12 is anyone looking into the blog editing issue? I still can't see anywhere to edit a blog post.

Also, I decided to create a new test blog entry and now all now blog entries (or at least mine) need approval before getting posted to the site. https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/blog/test-blog-entryafter-2022-ecf-upgrade.8419/ Shows "Awaiting approval before being displayed publicly."

Small glitch?

I use the drop down to "toggle sidebar", to gain some text width. Works fine. Until I log off, then back on, the preference isn't saved, and I need to toggle the side bar every time I log on.

Hey there, this currently isn't something that can be saved because the adjustment is made using cookies, which are only saved for a limited period of time. I'll see if there's any way that we can make this an account preference, but it may be a limitation of the software we're using

yes, getting 'watched threads' back on the main bar would be great. i believe the old version did let us choose what to pick. new posts, watched threads, etc - i think that's how it was. i always had watched threads on the top bar and i sorely miss it.
