...

that leaves the copy/paste problem for pics - worked fine yesterday :(

It Wasn't just you.

I had Problems doing Copying and Pasting yesterday trying to cleanup a Quoted Reply.

Keyboard CTRL C and INSERT weren't working. And Right Click Menu Copy/Paste were Funky. But then Lots of things are Funky now on the ECF. So I just chalked it up to "Progress".

I'm finding, well, erratic operations with pics. Some drag and drop fine, some don't. Some copy and paste fine, some don't. Some work with the compose window "Insert Image" link (url), some don't. Animations seem to work most reliably with the insert url method.

Thanks SMT. But I'm trying to find a Member and only know part of their Name.

You used to be able to Search for Members by doing a Text Name search. So one could Search say for all members that had "show" in their names.

Took me a minute... but I found our Members page. There is no link to be found for it on any page.

A link could be created if the Admins choose to create one.

I just found it by clicking on Staff Online
Is that where you got it ?
No, I went to my member page from here...

...and saw the members directory right there in the URL.

I deleted my member info, hit enter at members and that took me to our Members page.

From there clicked on Birthdays. There is a lot of info on the main members page.

ETA: typo fixed, Lol

There is no wildcard character to use when trying to find/search for a partial member name (that I'm aware of). Per XF there wasn't one with earlier versions either.

When searching for a member name you cannot type 'twice' (ShowMeTwice) to find all users with 'twice' located somewhere in their user name.

XF will only display user names that begin with "twi"; like so...

Find member - only works with knowing the first characters of a user name. You need to enter 2 characters for XF to begin searching the user database. That's how XF designed it.

I doubt it... but perhaps the old version of XF was running a third party search add-on that is no longer supported in the current version.

Yeah... People call that type of Search a Left to Right Pachinko Search.

Where only 1 Result is given. And that has to match in Left to Right Order to what the user typed.
