And where do you find these 4 clicks? I only used 1 click in my profile to disable online presence but I still show 'present' at the bottom of the page when viewing a thread,

I go to my name/profile/privacy/privacy options and check the box. unless there's an easier way.

I see others lurking, as well.

Spot on @tiburonfirst - at the bottom of a thread I don't show up and on the forum list page I don't show up in the members on-line box either when viewing from my wife's computer/browser.

"Toggle page width" used to hold across threads, even though it had to be reset on every log on. Now it doesn't, goes back to skinny screen whenever going to a new thread...

strange i've been going back and forth between my watched threads and no problems.

I'm wondering if the choice to toggle page width in the pull down at the top only applies to the thread you're looking at, while the toggle width button at the bottom of the screen next to the style chooser is site wide.

Follow up - it seems both work the same for me, no luck.

Trying now from Edge, and it seems to hold across threads... so maybe something in my FF install. Or add ons.

@classwife, @retired1, I only just realized we're missing the 'Members' page and it's display of whose birthday it is on any given day. FWIW, that was critical information many of us used regularly!!!

Is there an option y'all might be able to turn on for that?

Or... maybe it is here and I've not found it yet? (lazy user syndrome)

After finding it works as it should in Edge (yuck) and changing NOTHING in windoze or FireFox, it seems to hold across threads...
