Thanks for posting; commented:

If nicotine in and of itself were a major health concern, why then can you buy FDA approved nicotine replacement products such as gum and lozenges (also available in flavors) without a prescription? You don’t see the anti-tobacco (nicotine) zealots attacking these products. The answer is simple, nicotine is comparable to caffeine; neither one is considered a major health risk in highly diluted form as used in smokeless tobacco products or caffeinated beverages. If you really want to protect the children, ban diesel powered school buses; they emit fumes that have been directly linked to lung diseases! Or, get them off the junk food and into exercising. And if flavoring is the issue, we had better stop offering alcoholic beverages in flavors! Protect the children may sound like a noble goal and win support for the anti-tobacco (nicotine) zealots; however, it’s largely unfounded propaganda!

Good find. I posted

This is not about health, it is about control and money. Getting the sheeple to herd quietly down the path they lead. Pre-determined scientific studies to continue the agenda. Tobacco isn't safe. Either is caffeine, sugar, salt, diesels, wood fires and an ongoing list.

When North Dakota proposed HB-1174 in 2003 that would have prohibited the sale and possession of tobacco in the state, it was soundly defeated, 88-4. What was the problem-

"Belter told the House that committee members were frustrated last week with the testimony from anti-tobacco groups that testified against the tobacco ban, including the North Dakota Medical Association, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, American Lung Association, North Dakota Public Health Association and North Dakota Nurses Association."

It's not about health, it's not about safety, it is about money and where there's no product to fight against, there's no money to be made.

These "health" organizations will be against anything that threatens their food chain, even prohibition.
