I've bought 3 of the Cheapie Dripper RDA from sunvapers. News from JoeVaper's facebook, there is a price war between Sun-Vapers and HoosierVapes for these products. HoosierVapes lowered their price from about $9 to $5.49. The order was shipped in less than 24 hours.

HoosierVapes:
$5.49 Price is fixed
$2.50 shipping

Sun-Vapers:
$6.49 for 1
$17.99 for 3
$27.49 for 5
$2.99 shipping

The Cutie from Sun-Vapers is aluminum with a plastic drip tip. The Cheapie Dripper is suppose to be full stainless steel with a stainless steel drip tip.

He said that these are the same ERA clones that HV and SV are selling:

John Williams from Facebook said:
I have used it on my Vamo, my eGo, eGo Mini, MVP and Blade....no issues on any of them... It is a sealed on the bottom and well, it's a $6 atty, so I am not expecting it to be much more than a short threaded screw in the bottom. We shall find out though. if it is adjustable, it would be another plus to go along with stainless steel, double o-ring, stainless drip tip and low price.

I don't have mine yet, but if they are similar or the same as this, I'm happy. :vapor: Only thing I'm concerned with are replacement o-rings. I've never owned anything like this before, so I don't know if replacing o-rings is something to worry about.

I bought 2 from hv to put on top of egos for portable vaping. hope it's stainless because the colored version is anodized aluminum with same style driptip. Does the stainless looking one require a hex tool or Philips screwdriver?

at least 1 model needs the hex tool. the one from sun-vapers. says its included.

I've got the one with thumb screws. People have been calling them squids, instead of octopus because they are smaller - The material is really, really soft - comes pre-rolled with 8 strands of silica, I can take pictures tonight. The hole is small - and does not go through the base. It can be difficult to remove from the 510 connection as well -

let me know what questions you guys have

Cool! I like the Squid term lol. How high from the base is the air-hole? I don't like how others like the IGO-L and IGO-S, Dream Fatty clone, and others have the hole right at the level of the base. A few mm higher would help prevent leaking better.

Do you have other drippers to compare the draw to? I'm a big fan of the IGOs tighter draw.

What I didn't like about the one from sun-vapers was the fact that he said you had to hold outer post with needle nose while torquing down screw or it spins. I give him props for being up front about it just decided to avoid it for that reason. Who knows when I get the ones I ordered from HV they may have the same problem

Wanted to add that I ordered at 11pm last night and got shipping notification at 10:32am. HV seems to really be on top of getting product out the door

I got this from Discount Vapers yesterday so I haven't had a lot of time to play with it. The material of the housing, base and drip tip appear to be SS. The posts? I'm not sure what the material is. Mine has Phillip screws and is tiny to work with but I was surprised how easy it was to set up. So far I'm liking it and it looks great on an ego batt.

I have 3 of them ordered from hoosiervapers purple, black, and stainless steel, should be here end of next week.I am going to mod 2 of them with bigger airhole (different sizes) and keep one stock. For $5.49 could not resist just to see if they perform. They are roughly the same size as my TF Hornet and are made without the airhole in the side and up the middle, like the RDA.I would like to know why they named them the Phoenix V4? They should have called them what they are,ERA clone.

Alright. I have them with me, just playing with them abit. I'll have pictures in an hour or less.
These are the Cheapie Dripper (RDA) from sun-vapers. I ordered these on the May 1st, shipped the same day, and then I received them today. Quality looks amazing! These ERA clones are thick and heavy. I can't find my ecig, so I can't remove the body from the shell. They were shipped in a bubble envelop. It was wrapped individually in bubble wrap also. The actual unit are individually sealed.

Terrible picture quality, sorry for that.
They do come wicked and ready to vape :vapor:
The included hex wrench is terrible and flimsy, but good enough for the intended application.
The drip tip is heavy and lovely. The feeling of metal on my lips is great! Just don't accidentally bite on it.
I would pay $5 for the drip tip alone.
Damn thing is hard to open without being connected to a mod. Too lazy to go to the garage to get pliers.
Sealed 510 connection, draw hole is on the side.
The center pin connection looks like it sticks out abit.

Can someone post a picture of the deck on a colored v4?
Are they anodized aluminum on the inside?

The deck looks like the deck on the SMOK RDA,except with regular phillip head screws on the posts.

EDIT:Forgot to mention, the deck is smaller of course.

I just received 5 of the ones from hoosier vapers there is a definite quality difference between the silver/ stainless one and the colored ones. I actually like the stainless steel one. Nice weight and solid construction. Everything fits very tightly together. Lot smaller then regular octopus RDA. Sized to fit nicely on an ego battery with a straight cone. I tossed it on a little 350 mah battery. Started with 6 drops. Didn't flood but you can tell that's to much juice. 4 drops probably be perfect little top heavy on that batt but makes a nice little stealth rig. Decent vapor production

The one that I got is uncoloured stainless steel.

The ones with the allen wrench... has anyone found the appropriate philips head screw and/or thumb screw to replace these yet?
Another user of the device is looking into it. From what I've read on facebook, the coloured aluminum ones from hoosiervapes uses thumbscrews instead of hex screws. Someone said something about the octopus rda and the thumbscrews, I forgot if they said it was interchangeable with the ERA clone/Phoenix v4.

Are the screws interchangeable between the aluminum and stainless steel?

The link above is for the actual, original, ERA and Hornet. It states that the replacement screws are:
- Metric type 316 stainless steel cup point set screww - M2 size - 4mm long - .4mm pitch.
- Metric cheese head phillips machine screw - 18-8 stainless steel - M2 size - 4mm length - .4mm pitch

I don't know what those numbers mean, but they might fit our clones.

Wow, $75 for an original ERA. I believe a fair price is whatever people are willing to pay for something, so the question is, are people going to be willing to spend that when they can get close to the same thing for under $6? Wonder if the maker of the original ERA will lower the price. I'm willing to spend more for a well-made original, but not 15 times more.

Someone on facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/Vapedeal/ said that he has found a replacement screw for the ERA clones. Here is the direct link to the post on facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/Vapedeal/354208818013681/?notif_t=group_comment_reply. Just read through it till you reach the post by Edward, it will be very recent. He said he's found 3 different types that will work, and he'll sell them $1 per 2 screws.

Eh, some are willing to spend that much on an atty or a mod. I personally wouldn't buy an original GG, but others are fond of them!
