New Smoktech Winder / Slimmer then Twist

I bought a Smoktech Winder, I Have a Vision twist, but now I like the Winder even more overall.

its slimmer & the volt dial is smoother & easier to use. its a nice unit & I use it for work every day. even ordered a couple for friends at work as they really liked it, Kanger Evods are a perfect fit, the same slimness as a Kanger Evod

I just realized my EVOD doesn't work on my Winder battery. Evidently it doesn't screw down far enough to make contact. I've had the EVOD for awhile and it works fine on my eGo Twist and standard eGo batts. I guess I never tried it on the Winder until now.

I'm reluctant to pry up on the battery post for fear of ruining the battery. My other clearos - T2 and CE3 - work fine with the Winder. I'm wondering if the EVOD itself is the problem. I got it from fasttech so it's not genuine Kanger. I might try ordering a genuine EVOD and see if it makes a difference.

Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem.

Update: Just changed the head on the EVOD and now it fires on the Winder. Strange that it would fire only on the Twist battery earlier. Eventually it stopped working altogether which led me to install the new head.

just got 2 vision spinners which are basically the same- everything fits and works fine. love that 1300mah !!
