Efest needs to take a serious look into thier ratings if they are saying 20A. Even 10A is WAY too much for these.

If I were to make a recommendation...5A would be the limit until there are some tests showing better results. Above 7A is getting into an overload condition.

I cant seem to find any good test on the efest 30amp... Are you awar of any?

The chart shows the discharge curve over time. In that chart there are 2 sets of curves (5A and 10A) with 4 batteries in each set (2 V1's and 2 V2') for a total of 8 curves. Key things to note are the steep voltage drop at the left, indicating an overload condition, and that the capacity @ 10A is FAR less than the 5A curve, proving the overload condition.

Here is a chart of the Efest vs a true 10A capable CGR18650CH.

So... Once in a while there are people asking which batteries can be used for x resistance.

Using the battery list provided by Baditude, I have created a chart.

Hope this will be helpful to some of you.

PS: If you find any errors on this chart, please contact me so I can correct them.

Sub Ohm Battery Chart

EDIT: Corrected version. MNKE battery changed from 10 to 20 amps (thanks Baditude)

PS: To make sure you get the latest revision, clear your browsing history.

I've used this more than once already!! Thanks

Someone bought one in the last couple of days, so it's still being sold by some retailers.

There are still a ton of them available. Takes a while to deplete stock.

I picked up 2, should be here Tues. - Not really into Sub Ohm but figured for the price a few High end batteries wouldn't hurt.

Yeah, while searching vendors who typically sell the MNKE I found that most of them are out of stock, and RTD Vapor said that the battery is no longer being manufactured. There are actually better choices out now (the newer hybrid batteries with 22 - 30 amps and higher mAh ratings) than the MNKE. I've also read that AW will be discontinuing the AW 18650 IMR 1600 mAh 24 amp battery.

I would say, regardless of the price, regardless of the resistance... High end batteries should always be used

;)

Indeed!

I see no logical reason anyone should be using ANYTHING below AW batteries these days. They are cheap, they are plentiful, there is literally no excuse for using janky ICRs these days.

I agree, there is no reason to use protected ICR batteries. IMR and hybrid batteries are safer and better performers for both mechanical and regulated mods.
