Hi everyone I just wanted to update you all. My glass bottles come in and it turns out that I bought 1 oz bottles instead of 1/2 bottles. Also my 36mg VG came in from Good Prophets. The first thing I did was wash all the bottles, then I cut the 36mg down by half putting half in another bottle and then I finished filling up both bottles with NOW VG. I am hoping this will give me around 18 mg. I would like to cut it down even more but I am not sure how really. I have 1 ounce bottles, and I think 2 ounce bottles as well. As for putting in the drops of concentrate if I remember right its one drop per mill? So far the only thing I have mixed is the cherry. I also picked up some glass droppers at rite aid today. Once I get the concentrate down I will have 10 fresh 1 ounce bottles of great juice with hopefully no nic overload like from the other night. I hope everyone is having a great day. :):vapor:
I'm not sure but I think you would be better off using the bottles it came in to squeez out the drops. The glass droppers may be larger drops.

Hi Jeri, yep you are right it is much easier and faster using the dropper that came with the flavors. I now have 10 flavors with the caps off steeping for 24 hours and then I will put the caps back on. I have a question also. I have been using a 6 mill glass tank with my Big Kazoo. What is the best way to test the flavors? What size carts would you or anyone recommend? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Well I mixed up the milk chocolate and will compare it against the chocolate soon. :) We love that Tootsie chocolate over here bigtime. Hoping the Milk Chocolate is a hit too :D

On a sad note, my husband seems to be sensitive to some of the flavorings and develops a scratchy throat and coughing when chain vaping. Others he has no problems with at all--others he just doesn't care for. I tried lower percentages. further mixing with other flavors and then just made him vape unflavored. I didn't mention it before because we wanted to make sure what we were talking about by rotating with other flavorings that aren't these and see if he had the same responses. I got a scratchy throat with a few on occasion but not to the same extent he has. The weird part is I am usually the one who has allergy problems...lol This is also the first time he has vaped this many non-tobaccos--unlike me so it may be a generalized sensitivity as he's primarily a tobacco guy.

I am in no way saying these aren't excellent flavors but he never tried this many flavors and may be sensitive to some of the ingredients in any brand. I have kind of narrowed down what is working for the both of us and may do a classie thread on the ones that aren't working for us. Don't want them to go to waste.

I think people who vape High VG may have more of a buffer against a potential irritation since no one who vapes high VG has mentioned any problems at all but we vape high PG and don't like high VG. I've noticed rotating the flavors is the best way to minimize overfrying your taste buds too and/or vaping unflavored and/or adding these in moderation to a softer flavor thats PG based.

I still love Vaping Zone so please don't be upset with me and we still have many that are keepers for us but just thought I'd let it be known that like with any flavorings-- there is a potential to develop some sort of sensitivity so go with flavors you know first and rotate.

I saw several people have to let go of entire lines of a different brand due to allergic reactions. Sometimes its just one ingredient or one flavor that can pose a sensitivity. There is no way to know until you vape it for a period of time.

Nice to see you guys also from NV forum. I have my first order on the way and very excited. Reading this thread from each end and the top is quite amusing, the mystery... the fury, haha. I am glad to be starting my DIYing with VZ. Should be a snap. Great info here, thanks for figuring it all out for me folks!

Have the RY, B&M, HFC and NuPort flavs on the way! All VG base and mix.

Black Licorice is a passion for me, hope they put out the black twizzlers eventually.

The best system for testing flavors is dripping on an atomizer. I use 510 or 306 attys for this, you just drip a few drops and vape until it starts to get dry then drip a few more drops etc. When you're done testing a flavor just drip 5 or 6 drops of pg or vg and blow it out and grab a new flavor.

So sorry about your hubby being sensitive. I vape high pg with 2.5 to 3% flavor, and I've had no reactions what-so-ever! These are the best flavorings I've ever vaped IMO. I vape 8 to 10ml a day..

Thank you for posting that information. You never know who you may help with it.
We know so little about inhalation of any flavorings and I think that it is important to share this kind of info. Of course not everyone will have the same sensitivies but this info may be helpful to the ones that do. You should not have to feel that by sharing this info you are doing any harm to the vendor IMO. Everyone is different and nothing is going to be 100% good to everybody.

It is sad that people are made to feel uncomfortable for being honest.

Kudos to you :toast:
