Aaarrrgh.....finally got some $$$ freed up...and they are out of alot of what I want.

Sure hope they get restocked soon.....:(

Yeah, it's unfortunate they've had such a seemingly difficult time getting and keeping these flavors consistently well stocked. Before I finally placed my second order yesterday there were probably a half-dozen occasions when I was ready and willing to pull the trigger only to find out that one or two of the flavors I wanted were out. Then I'd wait for them to get in stock a few days or a week later and one of the other flavors I wanted that had been in stock would have sold out by then. It got to be pretty frustrating so I know how you feel. If I had any hair to speak of I might have pulled it out, lol. I had to console myself with the knowledge that I was saving myself money, if only temporarily. Hopefully they'll get it sorted eventually.

Just received an order I put in before finding this thread, so my wait time will be shorter compared to others lol. I got tobacco Absolute from ecigexpress, Cuban Supreme (FA), Latakia (FA), and Black Fire tobacco (FA). I just mixed up a small batch of each, about 3 ml of 70/30 PG/VG at 6 mg of nic, and did a drop or two of each flavor in it's own bottle. Giving them a hot bath, shaking, and trying to wait to taste test. I'll get back about them soon enough.

Using a DIY tobacco extract of my all time favorite pipe tobacco to hold me over while I wait.

I'm impressed!! Normally I vape these flavors at 2.5% or lower, but I made some Orange Cream at a mixture total of 3.5% and it tastes so damn good!!!

Yeah, the cream is rising to top of my short list(see how I did that? :)). It's been out of stock for a little while though. Gonna have to wait for my next order.

Was that the regular or Mandarin orange btw?

The Cream is the icing on the cake for fruit flavors! I used the Orange, but if the Mandarin is used, it will be a lot sweeter..:)

Latakia is way peppery, with a slight sweetness at the end. It doesn't remind me of the tobacco exactly, but I can easily see how a good mix of it would be really close. It was the first concentrate I tried, and it was an awesome start.

Tobacco Absolute reminds me of a straight up Virginia tobacco, mellow, and sweet all the way through. Not too sweet, but it is defiantly there the whole ride. I could probably vape this by itself, but I see where it would be good with a lot of different tobacco flavors. Good stuff here, like a not so smokey version of so many fire cured Virginia's I've tried in the past.

Cuban Supreme
strikes me like most cigar flavors, tobacco and leather, maybe with a hint of something almost tomato tasting on the back end. It's a decent flavor, I'll have to play around with it to see where I use it. If you've ever had anything that was supposed to be a cigar flavor, or something with a government branch name, this will remind you of that.

Black Fire Tobacco was a flavor I had zero expectations for, mainly because I didn't know what to expect lol. It has a smokey/ashy flavor to it, not in a bad way, but doesn't really taste like much on its own. I did notice it didn't mute anything that went before it, so I could clearly taste the juices that were dripped before this made it to my atty. I could see this as something you would just splash into a tobacco juice for a little extra something. Really it reminds me of a better tasting version of Hangsen tobacco, nothing unpleasant, but nothing much by itself.

Nice reviews TommyG, but I believe these should be in a flavourart or ecigexpress thread.

Thank ya, thank ya...I'm really liking them, first DIY juice experience and all but I'm suprised at how little concentrated it takes for juice. I was shooting for a pipe tobacco kind of juice, and think everything I have is better suited for cigar. Closest I have to pipe tobacco is my DIY extract, maybe I need to try blending that with some of the new stuff.

Well the Black Fire Tobacco seems to be in the right place, I think, or is there a flavor with the same name from one of the other flavoring companies also? I'm confused about the other ones though as they certainly aren't in the VZ concentrated category, unless he has some advance copies we haven't heard about.

Coincidentally, I was just about to comment on the VZ Black Fire Tobacco, now called Island Tobacco. It took 3 or 4 days of steeping before I began to appreciate this flavor, and it's only gotten better by the day since. I just dumped the last few drops of my first batch into a carto and vaped it on the way home. I don't think this batch made it quite to 2 weeks. Pure vaping heaven, just awesome flavor. With apologies to the Dunhill, Virginia Flue, Honey Flue, and French Pipe, which I think are all outstanding tobacco flavors, the Island Tobacco is now my favorite(for the time being at least, I seem to fall in love with a different one every few days, lol).

It was Black Fire, but I'm on day one for DIY, so I'm not the keenest on all this.

Ah, gotcha! Wasn't aware of that one. I guess maybe that's why VZ renamed theirs. If you're looking for a pipe tobacco like experience and planning on trying these VZ concentrated flavors, then I'd recommend the French Pipe, Honey Flu, and the Island Tobacco in that order. I haven't tried them all yet but the others I have tried(Virginia Flu, Dunhill, and Real Cig) were more cigarette or mild cigar like in flavor. Just my personal opinion and I'm sure not everyone would agree.
