Hi please call me Shadow,
I was a carton a week smoker many years ago. I first discovered e-cigs about 5 years ago. They where really big in Europe and readily available there. However they where not readily available in Canada where I am from or in the USA, which makes shipping cheaper. When I first seen a E-cig in person almost 3 years ago I was scepticle because it was marketed as a stop smoking aid. One day I was like mehh... and I baught one for laughs and giggles not even considering quitting smoking at all. For a little slim device that you could get e juice and refill was expensive when they where first introduced. I tried it, smoked both electronic and anologs, I then ran out of cartons of anologs and never restocked with them. ever since then I have been smoking e cigs. I have been a constant e cig smoker for 2.5 years and just over 3 years if you include both the mixing. I first started at 24mg/ml of nicotine and used that for a good half year then I decided to get cleaver and my background coming from strong math skills being a Civil Engineer and me Knowing a Professional Chemist I sat down crunched some formulas and numbers and came up with a plan to work over a course of 3 years to fully wean myself from nicotine so I would be vaping 0 and one day walk away and never look back. I am now currently vaping 8mg/ml, with many bumps in the road and the bank account feeling the hit most the time, (Trust me lots of bumps and many days thinking I should just go back to anologs). Back then the calculations for me to smoke cigs vs vape it was actually cheaper to smoke anologs, but decided over a 3 year period if it works and I could get off of it for good would be well worth the investment to myself.
I read through some of the posts on the forum and other information that was gathered, man thats alot of reading on this forum I think it took me 5 days to read and I am not even through 1/8th of the forum yet... Although I come with lots of information and knowledge from this, I also don't know everything or claim to know everything.
