hi all im new to this forum and new to rba’s and rda’s. I have a wismec gen 3 with the smok beast king TFV12 and have been loving my setup but my sweet juices are coil killers so after seeing some reviews and reading forums i decided to purchase the rba deck for the tank along with some cotton bacon. So after my first try at wicking i think i used too much cotton and the juice wasnt flowing too good, i didnt fire up the coils either before wicking them the first time (noob mistake) and the taste was horrible.
I continued to use a couple other sub ohm attys until today i decided to have another go. So at low wattage i began pulsing and got them firing up at exactly the same time, eventually. My wicking was much better and the flavour was amazing, at first. Then i began to get a slight burning sensation on the back of my throat if my hits where too long. This was at 110watts and ive seen people on youtube vape it straight away at 130 (my usual wattage) without any issues. Also the taste of metal was back, only this time just slightly. The tank was bubbling and sucking juice which makes me think the cotton was being soaked correctly.
I would greatly appreciate any tips, there must be something i am doing wrong??!! Its frustrating me alot lol.
Also what type of clapton coils come pre installed so i can buy replacements? Or what are the best coils i could buy for this deck with the mod i am using?
