Hello and welcome to the forum Adrian90five. Glad to have you here!:)

If you are new to mech mods and rebuildables I highly recommend you spend some time with Baditude (one of our resident battery experts) and visit his blogs. You are now 100% in control of your own safety (and others around you). Make sure you purchase an ohm reader and a voltmeter or DMM so you can measure your builds, check for shorts and measure the remaining charge on your batteries.

Baditudes Blogs. The blogs regarding mech mods and rebuildables (battery safety, Ohm's Law, amp draw, etc) are listed below:

BATTERIES

9. Battery Basics for Mods: IMR or Protected ICR?
* Another essential read to understand which batteries are safe to use in mechanical and regulated mods. Includes a frequently updated list of recommended safe-chemistry, high-drain batteries with their specifications.

17. Purple Efest Batteries Not As Advertised
* A cautionary blog that reveals that the purple Efest batteries may not have the specifications advertised. Also includes a commentary on "continuous discharge ratings" vs "pulse discharge ratings" of battery specs.

OHM'S LAW

14. Ohm's Law for Dummies (Vapers)
* My attempt at explaining Ohm's Law in layman terms and how it relates to vaping.

16. Explain it to the Dumb Noob: Ohm's Law Calculations
* As simple as it is to use, some people have a tough time grasping the concept. Warning: Includes graphic photos of mod explosions.

BATTERIES - WHERE TO BUY

Only buy batteries from a reputable supplier (not ebay or Amazon) as there are many counterfeit batteries being sold. Here are several reputable battery suppliers in the US.

* RTD Vapor
* Illumination Supply
* Lighthound
* Orbtronics

So I'm new to cloud chaseing so idk what ohms mean if someone can explain it to me thanks but as for now I have the panzer mod clone and the aethertech plume veil atomizer and the battery is sony 18650 any suggestions ?

Best suggestion that I can make is "Put down the Panzer/Plume Veil and get an eGo/clearomizer."
Now... vape the eGo until you learn what an ohm is, what a "C" rating on a battery is, and how they relate to one another.
Read EVERYTHING in the link that Susan has so graciously provided for you. Keep vaping on the eGo until you understand everything in that link and it all makes sense to you.

I'm not trying to be mean to you... I'm trying to keep you safe. You didn't just jump into the deep end... you jumped off the back of a boat in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.... without so much as a rubber ducky, and you just smiled and waved as the boat left you behind... If you are trying to get into "cloud chasing" and you don't know what an ohm is, but you bought a mechanical mod and an rda anyway, then you are NOT ready for what you have gotten yourself in to.

Now... go read that link and all of the links within that link... then come back and ask us more detailed questions regarding your resistances and amp limits, about airflow and breathing techniques... and above all, step away from the mech and stay safe!

Okay... my point was: Vape on something that you understand while you learn how your new equipment works. Vape on something safe while you learn how to not blow your face off...

ohms are a measurement of electrical resistance. With less resistance, more current flows out of the battery in your mech mod. Total power (watts) = volts x current (amps), so you will get much more total power from lower resistance builds.

Make sure your battery is high-drain, rated for at least 20 amps continuous current. And then make sure that your coil resistances are safe for your battery. You will need a resistance tester for this. Susan already posted the useful references. If you understand and follow these safe practices, cloud chasing is great fun!

It's not that I'm against cloud chasing... it's not that I'm against sub-ohm vaping...
I am, however, against people getting into something dangerous that they do not understand. That's how accidents happen, and when accidents happen with vaping, we all become targets. Most of us got into vaping to get off of cigarettes. Please do not ruin it for the rest of us. Be patient, read the links that Susan provided. Then come back and ask questions and we'll help to clarify and explain anything that you have trouble with. As I said earlier... I'm not trying to be mean. I'm absolutely willing to help you. Once you get your posts in, you can even PM me and ask me anything you would like... I'll do everything I can to explain and walk you through so that you can do this safely. All that I ask is that you be patient, be willing to learn, and that you do the homework... also, know that there are multiple ways to do what you want to do. You could go with a high wattage regulated mod instead of the mechanical... the regulated mod actually has some built in safety circuits that will help to prevent battery venting. You can actually get much bigger clouds out of a regulated mod than you can out of a mechanical... again, you just have to know your equipment...

I hope there are no hard feelings...
