Just about to start tthis got my nic from nicvape
100mg/ml vg base and another bottle if 100mg pg base
has a olive oily slightly dirt smell is that normal?
how to best store this nic. It came in plastic bottles
freeze? But into glass? Dark closet?

bought few bottles if vg from few places. Say usp glycerine. One is branded life brand others branded exact bbrand
the exact brand says 100%
both dint say manufacturer on them but say packaged by rwpackaging .
are these vegitable based?
Are they the same or does this packager use multiple sources for thier glycerine

as for pg I can get usp pg ordered made by 3 different mfg
medisca, galenova, or xenex. What's better?

as for flavours should I stick to flavor apprentice or is lorrann better. Tryin to stay away from flavor art due to hearing some thier flavors contain dyicetal

Should I use drops to measure or syringes or some other way?

Congrats on your purchases! Really glad to see you're starting the DIY venture :)

Storage for your nicotine base in the freezer should be a good start. If you are storing for longer than 3-6mo, transfer your stock to an amber glass bottle for prolonged storage.

As for the smell, all nicotine base can smell different to some. It most definitely isnt odorless by any means, but I can't necessarily ascribe the olive smell to it. But don't fret. NicVape isn't a bad retailer in the least. As long as your liquid isn't severly oxidized brown, then you should be okay. You can always use a test kit to determine rough concentrations if you are concerned (see DVap's thread at the top of the DIY section for further info - he has a great article there)

VG is always vegetable-based, hence vegetable glycerin :) As long as both your PG and VG are packaged in a USP-approved facility and is safe for food use, then you should be okay. I won't guarantee any of it, but if you'd like a recommended place to turn to, I use essentialdepot.com. Good prices and they always have reliably pure PG/VG.

Lastly, LorAnn makes great flavorings. Just make sure you stick to water-soluble flavorings in PG, VG, or ethyl alcohol, and no oil-based flavorings. Maybe reference us to one you are interested in purchasing?

Hope I could be of some help!

Best,
Jake

So plastic bottles in freezer or fridge should b fine.

Yea I checked out the list if safe lorrann flavours

As for glycerin wasn't sure if it was animal based or veg based rather have veg based and that packager seems to oackage for all the pharmacy nonane brands out here in canada. Shoppers. Superstore, Safeway ect

I guess all ups pg is same ill just get whatever is cheapest outta those 3

syringes give more accuracy
next would be to get a calculator and play with the settings until you are familiar with how it works
I use the eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator

Thanx guys
Yea I got that calculater and ejuice calculator on iPhone too
Grabbed 10ml 1ml and 5 ml syringes and diff gauge needles too

One thing I have yet to find locally is bling needles all the ones I've got are sharp for inteveous not big deal but blunt would b nice seems no pharmacy has those

if you have a grinder or a metal file, you can carefully file away those sharp points if you are uncomfortable with them.

It's just that with needle tip it's harder to get last little drops out cause hole is tapered and raised from bottom of tip. Also sharp tip scrapes around some. Yea guess u can file it down or cut tip. Or find online source, I've just been goin to local pharmacys all the has was sharp tips in different gauges. Mayb ill try a hobby shop
