I understand that drug talk is not aloud here on ECF, so I will be vague. At the moment I am not very comfortable around needles, and I was wondering what kind of stuff I should get in order to be successful, while avoiding the little pokey metal things. All of the kits I have seen online contain between 18 and 23 guage needles, which are exactly what I would like to avoid. If they are completely necessary (I dunno why they would be) in order to become good at it, than I would be willing to get some, but for recovery related reasons, I do not feel too good being around them. I could do it, but I'd rather not.

P.S. I know that this post is pushing some limits, so I do understand if it gets deleted. I just kinda figured that it might be okay because it is a way for me to avoid that sort of stuff.

Umm .The needles we use are not needles you could use to puncure yourself. They are not sharp needles ,they are blunt tip needles. You can poke yourself all day with them and surely wont bleed. They have no shrpness to them at all and are not the same as the sharp needles a doctor or hospital would use. They dont even have a pointed shape end. You can use 1ml syringes without the needle if you really need and use a graduated cylinder for bigger liquid transfers.

I personally use 14ga blunt tip needles from madvapes.

I am assuming you want to make your own e juice.

You could use pipettes to measure or if you don't mind counting a lot of drops, dropper bottles. Or my other thought was a graduated cylinder that you would pour the juice into that would measure amounts for you. These would avoid the use of any needles.

Also i personally would not use pipettes because they are not accurate at all . For flavorings its best to use 1ml syringes from ebay without the needle and dedicate each one to a flavor . This cuts down time rinsing after every flavor and they fit right in the flavoring bottles .

Download breaktru ejuicemeup calculator . It does all the calculations for you and saves a bunch of time also.

For supplies i recomend going to highdesertecigs.com They sell everything.

...You could always get syringes without needles? That's what I do. I go down to the local drug store and ask for graduated syringes and they hand me a fist full for free. They are designed more for babies and pets to take medicine orally. A needle will not fit on them. The only need I have for a needle is filling my CE2's and, as has been previously stated, they are blunt tipped.

So unless you're using a clearo, you have no need to get near the trigger.

I use graduated cylinders and .5 / 1 ml medicine syringe (no needle) for the smaller batches.

They are sold many places but these are the ones that I have and use Bomex Laboratory Glassware

An added benefit is that the numbers never wear off like they are prone to do quickly with syringes.

Good luck to you!

PS, nothing wrong with your post. Many folks don't like sharp needles :)

I have no fear of needles, but they're too fussy. Therefore I use syringes sans needles:

remove syringe plunger
place little finger tip on syringe tip
drip in flav or nic base or PG or VG in syringe top
place over/in mix bottle
remove finger
reinsert plunger
slowly 'plunge'

That's only one way to mix. But it's the quickest, most accurate and fuss free method for me.

Walgreens also handed me free syringes but I now prefer graduated cylinders

I started with syringes and now find them a pain in the ..... Switched to pipettes.
When adding flavoring you only need a small amount. You can not just pour flavoring out of a glass jar in to a bottle and hope for the best. Learned that the hard way. Use a pipette with a graduated cylinder 5ml or less for proper measurement of flavoring.

I just wanted to pop in and say that, at least to me, your post wasn't even close to breaking any rules. When they say no drug talk, I am assuming they mean discussions of active use or advocation of legality, etc.
Your need/desire to avoid needles is akin to a recovering alcoholic avoiding juices that use alcohol as a thinner or looking for something other than vodka to clean an atty with.
