hello everyone, as is somewhat obvious from the title i have never had an e-cig before and finally ordered a Titan starter kit along with a pcc kit today because a friend of mine told me he made the switch and it worked for him and well i was wondering a few things. 1. how long (roughly of course) will it take for my order to get to me? i also bought a few bottles of different flavored stuff from the site and i was wondering if maybe i should have gotten some other things besides just those two kits and liquid because i smoke quite a bit, generally around a pack of cigs a day plus i chew smokeless tobacco in the middle of class (college not hs :p), but the chewing i don't do a lot of that at all so i can easily ditch that bc i was thinking that an e-cig would be perfect bc i smoke so much i wanted to get my nicotine without the whole....death...thing which is why i picked up chew in the 1st place because i know my lungs were getting destroyed (i know chew kills eventually too, but well i still wanted to get some load off of my lungs) anyways i was jw how long it would take for my stuff to get to me, to introduce myself, and to know if i should've gotten something more. i'll admit i'm excited to start using an e-cig or e-ni and i will let you all know how it goes once i get it :D.
Take it easy.

oh ok thank you and thank you lol. will this whole e-cig thing really save me that much money? i mean between the starter kit, the pcc, and extra bottles of liquid my bill was $270! while it's true i generally spend about 5.50 a pack here on camels which works out to about 60 bucks a week how am i really saving that much money? also...what are analogs?

Sorry phulcrum. I did not really think about the math or the grammar behind my previous posts, i was in a bit of a rush, and 60 bones a week is also wrong which again is my fault. 5.50 x 7 is 38.50 for some reason i thought it was 58.50 :p. In a month's time i will have spent roughly 155 bucks depending on what store i go to, what cigs i get, etc. According to the math i spend $270 on cigs in 7 weeks and i reread everything on how long the cartridges, atomizers, and batteries last so now i see the resulting savings so i do apologize for my earlier stupidity. it seems i should only post on here when i'm not pinched for time otherwise it appears my posts are more closely scrutinized than i had earlier assumed. my apologies.

Hmm...

I got the PCC kit from Cignot (2 full ecigs, chargers, pcc, 5 carts, 2 5ml bottles of juice) and an additional 20ml and 5ml bottle to get me started and it only came out to $77 shipped.

Still waiting for all that to get here though. Ordered them Saturday with 1-3 day shipping and they still aren't here even though the package was picked up from Cignot on Monday. Damn you USPS!

Minna is their name :p and i thanked them lol. Does anyone know how long it will take for the stuff i ordered to get to me? I didn't use any kind of express mail or anything i only used the basic one so a week maybe? maybe sooner *fingers crossed*? maybe longer? Also the stuff i listed in my previous post was copied and pasted straight from the TW USA website. (sorry, still haven't read all the rules and regulations for the forum so i'm unsure of the policies on using a website's information)

Welcome, Shadow! I would also get a passthru, which you can use to power the atty from a computer usb port rather than the battery. And you may want to try the mega batts at some point, as they last about 2x as long as regular batts. The majority of my PV hardware is TW, and I've been very happy with them. Sometimes they run big sales and you can get 30% off everything. You should get your stuff in about 4 days from ordering.

The PT is useful now, but I advocate getting to know the PV and all in terms of your daily routine before you buy a lot of other stuff. Its easy to over-buy.

it's in Minna's signature so i don't want to post it myself and take any credit (or commision!) away from him. i was originally thinking about getting the Mega titan (batteries and everything), but then i saw how big the thing was and figured i would be content with the original smaller version. I'll admit first off that i am TERRIFIED of buying anything online and i am unsure of the source of this fear so i'm always buying things from a store i can go to in person despite the massive savings a person can often get from purchasing from the internet. I finally bit the bullet for my e-cig purchase because i don't want to be 6 feet under by 22 because of how much i smoke and my doctor telling me my lungs sound like crap ( no i do not have COPD or any kind of smoking related illness...yet). I didn't think to get a PT though because when i first saw it it looked unwieldy, but thank you Kurt i'll have to keep that in mind for the future. Also how many refills do you reckon a 30ml bottle will last for?

I am also new to the forum. I started puffing on an NJoy cig on Monday, my Aunt let me try hers out. She purchased it from a kiosk in the mall and never opened it. I liked it at first, however it soon lost it's "bang" that I got when I first started using it. It only came with 10 carts and one atty. All the info they gave you on how long and how many cigs it will replace is total bull! If you smoke more than a few cigs a day the math is way off on thier calculations. Well anyway, I ordered a DSE901 right away. Just got it in a few hours ago. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I hope the feeling last longer than with the NJoy. Right out of the box it was ten times better. Love the passthrough, anyone thinking about ordering should definatley get the passthrough. I'm at my computer now, puffing away. I ordered through vaporkings.com. So far so good, they have really fast shipping and product was just as described. I wish they would have had a better selection of juice, I think they are working on that. I have to say this forum has really helped me in my venture to find the right e cig. I hope the one I have is the one. Thanks all you nice people that posted your info.

Was the liquid their 36 mg? If so, with my vaping habits one bottle would last about a month give or take. Figure 2 mL of ~18 mg a day, or there about. It all depends on your nic needs, which cannot really be predicted with any accuracy. You may find you want higher nic, maybe lower. You may want to chain vape, you may take a hit every 10 minutes. All depends. You have enough to keep you happy while you learn the ropes.

Savings happens after the initial hardware/juice investment. You spent about what you would spend on a months worth of analogs. Had you not found ecigs, you would have spent this anyway. And most of what you got will last much more than a month. In the long run, making your own DIY juices with high-nic unflavored juice, PG or VG, and flavorings, is much cheaper than buying premixed juices and a LOT cheaper than buying prefilled carts. Getting bulk hardware (all hardware dies eventually) on sale now saves big money later, plus the headache of worrying about running out. So initially, one does spend some money to do it right, but in the long run it is SO much cheaper than smoking.

And don't worry about buying from vendors listed here on ECF. Trust me, if they had bad service, folks here would scream and sales would drop off. Vendors listed in ECF live and die by what is printed about them here. They really do want you happy. Some will run sales just because we ask them to!

But stocking up just became less important, given the blow Judge Leon just dealt on the FDA. PVs are now tobacco products, and banning is not at all likely any time soon...although taxation and regulation is likely. But for today, we are free to vape with gusto!

Chatty, first let me welcome you to the forums. If you do a lot of research here, you will find much more honest info about e-cigs. The cartos definitely do not vape as long as as advertised. I do the liquid in my carts as carts are very expensive to use, especially if you are a heavy smoker.
Don't have a pass-thru, but understand they are nice. I have a few mods I use and they are great for long lasting power. Most folks here are advised to start on the 510 just to see if they will settle into vaping. My transition from analogs was fast as is the experience with many on here. Good luck and welcome again!

Batteries, batteries, batteries, and a multi charger.

Standard manual 510 batts do not last long. I purchased a 5 pack along with the same kit that you ordered (different vendor) and was thankful that I did. Was a heavy smoker (2+ pack/day) and am a heavy vaper and the batts lasted about 1-2 hours each. The PCC kept one charging throughout the day but without the extras I would have been SOL. Having 6 fully charged batts to start the day with allowed me to rotate them as they wore out with no interruption of my greedy need for nicotine. (I have problems and I freely admit it.)
