Hey i just joined this forum and have been reading around. i just ordered my first ecig from blucigs.... and im reading here that a lot of people dont like them or they dont work... or whatever. anyways i also read that blu and volcano carts are the same size and fit well together, is this correct? first off because volcano has cheaper carts, and they have empty's that i could fill with my own flavors. i wanted to know if anyone has doen this and if it will work. i havent gotten my blu-and it will be a while im sure... but if im gonna buy some liquid and blanks i should order them now... thanks for your help :)

Hi and welcome. I bought the Blu pack and got my order in 5 days (recent). The interchange with the volcano's. They have a short battery life, depending on amount of vaping. But with the extra battery and charging box, I haven't run into a problem. The original carts have good flavor and are OK on length of use, depending on amount of use. I refill with e-juice, but I have modded the carts with Fluval to hold more. The only thing I do not care for is the sensitivity of the battery....very!. The best way to use the Blu's is to take a very slow and easy drag. You get good vapor and throat hit that way. I also enlarged the hole on the end of a old cart, removed the inner cart and sometimes put about 4 drops on the atty, put the empty cart on and get a great hit and vapor. Some people hate Blu's. I do like them and still use them, along with my 510 and 401. Best of luck.

i think the main issue with blu's (from what i've read) is cost/customer service. i don't think they're one of the 'best' models out there, from hearing many different opinions.

they are interchangeable with volcanoes, as mentioned. there are some awesome vendors for juice out there to try, so refilling is definitely somethin to play around with. ;)

thanks everyone for replying :) very helpful some tips and stuff. sorry im kinda slow, so if i buy the empty carts at volcano and then just fill them with my own "juice" i will be good to go? im kinda confused about all the talk of fillers, and tea bag fillers, if i use the carts from volcano (they are $2.50 real cheap) and just fill them up will i need a filler? or will i be okay? i heard the pull is really bad on the blu, so will the volcano blank carts work better?

and about the shipping from blu, i sent them an email askign them how long it would be they got back to me the same exact day, but with bad news, saying it usually takes 4 weeks prosessing, because of the back order. oh well, i guess ill be smoking marb reds till then.

My Blu did not even last two weeks. I was refilling the cartridge every 5 minutes, because the reservoir is so small. Horrific customer service. I would call it customer dis-service.

I would place an order for your second PV now (after doing your research on these forums, of course). If you did your reseach today, and ordered tonight, you might get it before you give up, and go back to analogs.

The ONLY thing I actually liked about the Blu was that is was a good concept for smokers just trying an e-cig...the form factor is close to a cigarette, but it doesn't really attempt to mimic an e-cig as closely as other super-mini e-cigs do, and they had decent fit and finish (although that started wearing off and flaking after only a week as well!).

i dont have the money to order another set, plus i did research before i bought the blu, and i thought it was a good choice for me. i just think i will fill my own carts, i dont smoke that much, maybe 5 cigarettes a day, and i always smoke half then snipe it out and smoke the other half later. so im not a big smoker, thats one reason why i chose blu. plus it just looks so good (i think thats my many people buy the blu) i have seen so many people saying the blu isnt that good, but i think thats personal opinion. if i dont like my blu i will send it back durring the 30 days. but buying another whole kit is way out of budget, and another reason i wanted the blu was because of the price, at $60, i mean thats not a big loss if i dont like it. but thanks for the "warnings" anyways i thin kill try my luck and see how it goes. and keep bugging blucig costumer service till it gets sent. (they have replied to all my emails the same day, sofar they have been O.K. to me)

I just placed an order from bestciggy.com for a sampler pack of juices, the price was pretty much incredible, 10 -3ml bottles for 10bucks, has anyone tried their flavors? and do you like them? i got the marb red imitation, vanilla, strawberry, orange, red bull, and water melon (and i got 2 of a few of those flavors) i hope they turn out tasting okay, i read somewhere that they were a little weak tasting, but i dont think i want a few strong flavor.

okay okay i caved. i waited on hold tryign to contact blucigs for over 30 mins, finally i canceled my order, and got a 510 for about $50, and some empty carts. and i have some of bestciggy juices on order.... hopfully i like it... if not, no big deal its only 10 bucks. i really cant believe blucigs wanted me to wait FOUR weeks just for them to process my order. i hope i like my 510, and i will have to get a box that charges them on the go, as i am always on the go... saw them for $25, not bad i guess.... thanks everyone. you guys are really helpful

Gosh, I really hate to do this... 9ml for $10 is not the worst price I've seen, but not a GREAT price. The majority of the vendors in the sub-forums offer juice between fourty five to nintey cents a ml.

For instance, I just ordered from Good Prophets and they are offering a free 30ml bottle on your first order from them. That worked out to about fifteen cents a ml.

Although you will pay a bit more per ml with smaller sampler sizes, it is a great way to figure out what kind of juice you will like! Also, look around at the different cartridge mods. I found that for the cartridge mods in terms of their effectiveness versus their ease of installation nothing beats the "blue foam mod" with the "pyramid tea bag" mod in second.

BTW, I just saw your post...CONGRATS on the 510! You will be MUCH more pleased with it, I am sure. I can say that with confidence, since that is the next PV I moved to after the pathetic and all too early death my Blu suffered. Lastly, please understand that I am just trying to help you, so you don't end up regretting your decision to try out a personal vaporizer!

Also, I have spent a lot of time searching out the best prices for this stuff, since my cash is extremely limited right now too. Feel free to drop me a private message any time, if you have questions!
