I am looking at a particular model i have seen and heard of people i know using, what i am wondering is i see this information about the area where the liquid goes needing replacing after time (what is this called?) I want to buy one that has a system that is not disposable but is washable, and has a good battery life and so on. Would someone mind checking this out and letting me know if it is a good move?

Also if you dont mind, on canvape.com letting me know what would be my best options for long battery life, good batter use, etc.

Here it is
901(808d) 1100mAh Black Starter Kit

Driven by a 3.7 volt 1100mAh rechargeable manual battery. With the rapid USB charger, 1.5-2 hours is enough to get the battery fully charged. A 100% fully charged battery can support a heavy user to vape for many many hours without worry! The 901(808d) starter kit is the best choice for users that want to hammer their 808d kanger carto's with a thread that naturally fits. The 901 atomizers provides mild and smooth taste with enhanced throat hit.

2 - 901 atomizers
2 - 3.7V 1100mAh rechargeable batteries in Black
1 - atomizer/carto cone
1 - USB wall adapter
1 - USB 901 rapid battery charger
10 - Black flat tip cartridges

i think most people would recommend a 510 threaded device over a 901, at least here in the states. many more atomizing devices use the 510 thread, i.e you'd have more options to work with.

there are some rebuildable atomizers out there, but they haven't been all that popular for some reason, probably more hassle then they're worth. especially considering the super cheap prices of cartomizers and that they can last quite a long time. i've been using five 1.5ohm dual coil cartomizers (use each one each day, different flavors) for well over a month and they're all still working, they cost me $5 total.

why would i waste money buying rebuilding supplies and my time rebuilding them?

I don't know much about the 901's honestly, but this
eGo LCD-Tank Kit 1100mAh Black or Stainless V2
for 49.95 is a good price and what seems to me you are talking about getting rid of cartriges and going for the tank system that can be washed.

It looks like an ego 510 threading. 901 has male or exposed threads on the battery and the attys look like EM 510 attys. Not that any of that is bad but I might look for a supplier that either knows what they are actually selling or can get pictures of their actual product right.
I was thinking this as well. Didn't look like a 901 connection, but I could be very wrong. As to some of your questions, lets see what I can help you with. The area where the e-juice (liquid) is generally a cartomizer or atomizer. Personally, being fairly new to this as well, the cartomizers work much better for me as the atomizers seem to have a higher learning curve to their usage, however they do seem to provide a much purer flavor IMO. As to being able to get a set-up that is washable and not disposable, I haven't seen anything that works in that manner. Replacing cartos and attys are just part of e-cigs. There are some threads that talk about washing out your cartos and attys with a number of different methods, but these parts have a life span. Hope this helps some.

I'm not familiar with that kit so I won't attempt to speak on it, however, the battery size is nice for nearly an all-day charge and the fact that the kit comes with 2 batteries is a good thing.

For "washable" you'll need to look for the word "tank" and even those will need replacing eventually. Cartridges and cartomizers are also washable in a manner of speaking, but I'm thinking you truly mean rinse it out and fill it up and that would be the simplicity of a tank. Just keep in mind, that tanks can be frustrating due to possible leaking and if your battery is not sealed, leaking can ruin it.

Welcome to ECF and congratulations on making the choice to vape!! Keep reading the forum threads and you'll learn so very much that will guide you through and don't hesitate to ask questions!!

Its approximately 1 hour of use per mah, so 1100 would keep you vaping without a recharge for about 10 to 11 hours. As with any other battery, eventually it'll will start getting weak and won't hold a full charge or produce good power. That's why it is recommended to always have a back-up for your back-up. While one is in use, one is charging, and one in the drawer. Then when its time to toss one, you order a replacement and never have to go without while waiting on the mailman.

Your nic level will determine how much vaping it will take to get that smoking satisfaction, at least as far as the actual cravings go. The rest is based off of your flavor choices and the feel of your vape. Just be prepared to play around with all the variables in the beginning, and going forward, to keep you vaping experience up to par. I find that when straight vaping isn't cutting it for me, I hold the vapor longer in my mouth and exhale through my nose to intensify the nic absorbtion.

Keep reading and asking questions and you'll find the way that works for you!

charge the batteries ;)

i've had no problem quitting smoking as soon as i started vaping, but not everyone's the same of course. as long as the nic is there, i don't think your body really cares where its coming from, might even be helpful if it tastes (the vapor) like something you like, so even if the nic transplant doesn't take immediately, the flavor(s) will get their hooks into you and keep you coming back until the transplant does take.

of course flavor might not be what you're actually tasting for the first few days while your taste buds regenerate...

also, you might find yourself vaping much more often than you ever smoked, don't equate the two. nic intake happens differently, not as quickly, and not in the same amounts as smoking.

i started at 24mg nic level, and while i got a nice throat hit out of it, it didn't take long for me to start getting headaches/etc from vaping too much, so dropped it to 18 for about 5 months, now i'm going to drop it to 12, since i vape even more now :)

The 901 is a good atomizer but as mentioned above, there are fewer options with the 901. However, even with a 901 connection, all you need is a 901 to 510 adapter which costs $3.00 and you can still use any 510 carto or atty.

Being new, I would not suggest getting a "tank" system. Just way too many issues reported from people using the tanks.
