A bit about me. Im a 21 year old guy, started smoking when i was 17, but never let it get out of control. I smoke anything from 1-10 a day, id say on average 4 or 5 roll ups a day. I also smoke a pipe in the evenings as its relaxing and i enjoy it (a bit eccentric lol).

I want an e cig so i can smoke indoors, and to hopefully quit smoking altogether.
I have some questions.

1. Do you get a 'buzz' from e cigs? Because i dont smoke much anyway, nearly every time i have a ... i get a headrush and a feeling of relaxation, do you get this with e cigs? And also do you feel it go into your lungs?

2. How much should i be spending on one? Baring in mind im not a heavy smoker so i guess it wont need an epic battery life.

3. Whats all this about making your own 'juices', is it easy?

4. Why are e cigs not promoted very well? There doesnt seem to be that much information on the internet about them.

5. Will smoking an ecig cost less than smoking roll ups?

6. Are there many different types of E cigs?

Any help would be appreciated, i also have facebook if anyone wants to talk to me on that and give some advice.
Thanks :)

Ok, I'll take a stab at it...

1. You can, depending on the amount of nicotine you're using. Ditto. I do.

2. I'd recommend an eGo Twist to start with, they're not expensive and you can try it out to see if you like it.

3. You can mix your own juices, but to begin with it's just alot easier to buy them already mixed.

4. Because it's a secret society.

5. Depends. Most of us spend more for our new gadgets than we spent smoking analogs.

6. Yes.

One of my first kits was a Kgo and loved it, lasts all day and will more than cover what you need. Will include a couple clearos to try. You can definitely feel the vapor go into your lungs but mainly that depends on the eliquid you buy with it. Some liquids have more throat hit than others. They are a mix of pg/vg. Pg=more throat hit and Vg=more vapor. Most liquids have a blend of both. It is hard to beat roll ups cost wise, as little as you smoke, but I have heard that new laws are being implemented to tax loose tobacco the same as cigs. There are numerous batteries recommended on here and you will get many suggestions. Remember the ones that look like cigs are usually very low battery life and you will have to charge them a lot. The battery life depends on mah 100 mah= about 1 hour of vape time. This is just one of many kits out there, not sure what you have available in your area. KGO kit1100mAh by SLB

I have to agree with infoI except for the cost. I don't know what roll-ups cost but if I just get juice and cartos I can vape pretty cheaply for the month.

I'll answer Question number 6:

Cigarette look-a-likes and eGo batteries

The first picture below is a comparison shot of a cigarette with a couple of mini-sized batteries and three "eGo" size batteries. All are from the Smokeless Image lineup.

These are considered semi-disposable, because these rechargable batteries have an expected life of 250 charges. After that, the entire device must be replaced with a new battery. These are what most new users start out with because their smaller form factor is closer to cigarettes and are cheaper to buy initially. The mini-ecigs have a battery use of 3-4 hr and the larger cigar-sized batteries have a battery use of 6-10 hours or more. Because of their slim form factor, they are limited to juice carriers that are smaller in capacity.

Some of the eGo batteries offer variable voltage. The user can adjust the voltage to the heating coils to customize the vapor, flavor, and throat hit.

Advanced Personal Vaporizors (APV) or mods

The second picture below is a top-of-the-line advanced personal vaporizer or APV, or mod, a Provari made by Provape. This is a heavily constructed metal tube meant to hold smaller replacable, rechargable batteries much like a flashlight does. These devices are more durable and will last years in comparison to the less durable devices described above. They are significantly larger in size and weight. They are more expensive initially, but consider they will last longer. The batteries that these use are cheaper (< $10), have a lifetime of 1 year, and can have a working duration of 8 hours to all day or more. Being larger devices, they are better able to carry larger capacity juice carriers of 3-8 ml of liquid that can last 1-3 days.

Some of the APVs offer variable voltage. This allows the user to increase or decrease the voltage of the heating coils to change the vapor and flavor of juice to their personal taste.
