new to e-smokin wondering about huge price differences

hello all,

I kind of stumbled upon the smart fixx website and decided to give their product a try. My pen style smart fixx came in last Thursday and I haven't smoked an actual cigarette since then, I'm totally hooked on e-smokin. That being said I've been reading this forum all weekend and some of the stuff has spooked me a bit (health concerns section: Chinese companies using poison instead of PG), but my biggest confusion is the price difference between cartridges. Smart Fixx sells 5 packs of carts for $12.95 but e-cig sells what looks like the exact same carts in five packs for $2.35. Does anyone know why their is such a huge price difference between cartridges and if there isn't a big difference has anyone tried using the e-cig carts in a smart fixx pen style device. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

With Smart Fixx, you won't pay $23 for shipping and wait a month or two to get them.

I'm not sure what type of liquid Smart Fixx uses. It may be one of the better ones. Some of e-cigs liquids (i.e. the fruit flavored ones) have been rumored to kill atomizers. We're still trying to figure it all out. I'm sure others have better answers for you...but this is what I know so far.

I didn't know that there was better or worse e-liquid, thought it was all pretty much the same stuff. Good to know that the fruit stuff from e-cig might kill my atomizer as I placed an order through them so that I could test wether or not their carts were compatible with my smart fixx penstyle. They say on thier website that they ship within 5 days and that after its shipped express it should only take another 5 days to get to me, if it does take 1 or 2 months I'll be pretty disappointed, but I have to find an alternative to these horribly expensive smart fixx cartridges. I figure it would cost me and my wife over $400.00 a month if I keep ordering from smart Fixx, and we're used to $94.00 a month roll yer own smokes. Is there a good quality liquid that is not too expensive that you would recomend that I could use to refill my smart fixx cartridges?

e-cigs menthol kills atomizers as well. flue-cured does to a point, but nowhere near as bad as the fruit flavors. Please understand that is just my experience, and mileage will vary. I'm also a pacifier e-cig smoker.

yes, I'm in the states, well at least one of them currently, the most depressed and sad state of michigan. Glad to know that the e-cigs menthol also kills atomizers as I just bought a whole mess of those oh well, I'm A newbie, live and learn I suppose). I wonder what it is about thier carts that kill atomizers? anyway thank you both for the info, and if you have any suggestions about how to keep the cost of e-smokin down or know of any good supplies of refill liquid that would be great. BTW do you know why u.s. sellers don't carry the extra high 24mg nic carts? The highest i've seen is 16mg, but other non-u.s. sites carry 24mg. Also, I've tried the areos smokeless cigerettes, thier really harsh and have very little nic in them. does anyone know of a product like that with more nic in it? I've been trying to use the areos in between e-smokin to keep the cost down for now, until i get a better alternative.

I think she is low or out right now, but she should be getting more in soon. It is a different liquid than e-cigs and i swear it revived two of my bad atomizers.

i need to order more when she gets it in. i've got half a bottle of menthol left and it is working very well.

I know there has been one complaint about the flavors and thickness. I have to disagree with the complaint. the menthol tastes good to me, not too strong, not too weak. I think the consistency is great. It is thinner than e-cigs liquid, but i think that might be a good thing in reality.

But out of fairness to the one who didn't like the new liquid, it's just all a matter of personal preference.

agreed there too. And on matters of personal preference, one just has to try it out. Everyone is correct when it is a matter of taste.

Thanx Dusty, I ordered a 30ml bottle of the coffee flavored juice from her based on your recomendation. BTW how long does the juice last i.e. how many cart refills can I expect to get out of the 30ml bottle?

honestly.. 30ml is equal to 30 penstyle carts in a perfect world.. problem is that the carts retain liquid even when they aren't puffing, so if you are topping up, you should actually get a little more use from the liquid.

thank you for the info. I'm hoping that I like the liquid from Jane because the carts are quite a bit more expensive. I'm also excited to try the bickfords stuff, do you know if it possible (is there any known problems with it) to get the high nic juice and mix it with the bickford's I'm thinkin it could be tasty and it looks like the Bickford's is super cheap and tasty.
