Yes I've recently tried that with no luck, different cartos different mod to put on (Twist). I too have talked to previous vamo owner whom works at my local vape shop who said that, that chip in the vamo can break easily causing it to fluctuate in power delivery as well as ohm readings, which makes total sense when the average cost for a vamo v2 happens to be around $35.... Like I said in my previous post.... You get what you pay for.
I don't get it, did you try your cartos on a different mod and they worked fine with no burning, thus determining it IS the vamo that is the issue? Or did you try your cartos on another mod and had the same issue, meaning it WASN'T the vamo causing the problem?
Here's another thought, have you tried giving the center pin on your vamo a good cleaning? Maybe there is juice/gunk built up causing the vamo to inaccurately read the ohms of your coils, causing it to pulse more power through than it should.
Or, you could just decide your vamo is crap and move on, up to you I guess.
