Hello all, I have been browsing this forum for a week or so and have been like a sponge soaking up all the great information here. This is one of the best Forums in general I have seen. I am new to vaping so it was a little overwhelming at first, but I have learned so much about the wonderful world of vaping.....

I have been smoking analogs for 23 years and have quit several times but never for any extended time. I have tried every quitting Aid known to mankind and have not been sucessful. The best I have done is with the patch, I quit for 2 months and randomly one day started smoking again. I think my biggest issue with quitting is that I really enjoy the smoke in my lungs, that is why I think I can be sucessful with vaping because I can still get that sensation.

A while back I tried one of the "First Gen" e-cigs, I liked the idea but it was low quality and didnt produce much Vapers/Nicotine for me, it just wasnt enough to keep me off analogs. About a month ago I was attending a LAN party at a friends house who is a non-smoker and I was planning on being there for 10 plus hours. I decided to stop by the local smoke shop to pick up another cheap e-cig because cause I tossed the first one that I had bought. As I was browsing through the Dozen different kinds of cheap "cigarette like" e-cigs my eyes were drawn to this weird device that was different from the others, a mini sized PV. The guy at the store let me try it out, first hit I was suprised with how much vapor it produced, I was sold.......

I have been using the PV for a few weeks now, its a cheap knock off of a basic eGo I think. even though this device produced more vapors and delivered more nicotine than the "First Gen" one that I tried, it still wasnt enough to keep me off analogs. I still had cravings for the anolog, something was missing. A co-worker gave me a little sample of WTA liquid and I loved it! I placed an order that very same day. I have been using it for about a week now and for me it really satisfies the analog cravings, I am down to just a few analogs a day and plan on quitting them for good. I not sure that I want to use the WTA's long term, I think I will slowly wein off it and use just regular e-juice.

I am ready to upgarde to a VV and have my eyes on a select few, just need to do a little more research first. I have so much to learn and some many new things to try out!!! This has become somewhat of a hobby as it is all still new to me. Any advice or words of encouragment are welcome! Sorry I was so long winded, just wanted to breif you all on my introduction to VAPING....!

Cheers,

Izzy

Welcome to the forum! Between this forum and youtube videos, there is plenty of valuable info on the variety of equipment out there. The homework done upfront can save you cash. I use mechanical apv's but a lot of people here swear by vv. Also with your location down state , check out the Michigan sub-forum here. They have a number of meet ups which would be helpful. Unfortunately for me living in the "tip of the mitt" the logistics of attending is pretty difficult.
