happy friday, everyone!
new member here, but have been reading various forums on this site probably since my first experience with e-cigs.
anyway, a little about my journey:
started smoking at 18 during my first semester of college. all of my new friends were smoking, had recently started my first job (wal-mart, still had an indoor smoking room, all of the younger employees smoked), and was curious. i knew how bad smoking was, and none of my family smoked, but decided to buy a pack and try them anyway. a few months later (winter 2010), i began looking into vaping. i love new toys, so i thought it would be cool to have something to use in my room and while driving without smelling everything up. also, i realized how much i enjoyed smoking, but wanted to avoid the risks without having to quit. i bought a blu starter kit, and enjoyed it, but there was just too much charging and going through cartridges for it to work properly. gave up on it after about two weeks, but kept researching e-cigs. because of all of the negative blu forum posts and reviews, i found volcano. purchased a magma tank system around summer of 2011, and was able to quit cigarettes for about 2 months. unfortunately, it was never quite able to keep up with me, and i went back to cigarettes.
enter april of 2012. i had been smoking for about 2 years, and i hated it. they tasted awful, and i hated how my lung capacity had decreased. stairs were making a thin, 20 year old girl quite winded. i also didn't want my clients (was training as a hair stylist) to have to smell me. i bought a volcano inferno tank system and quit my 1.5 pack-a-day habit instantly. a month later, i was at a poker game chatting up the tournament director, who was also a fairly new vaper. he told me about a dedicated e-cig store that was about 45 minutes away from my house. up until then, the only places in north metro atlanta that sold e-cigs were gas stations, and a few smoke shops sold units very similar to the blu and kr808. awesome vapor in cumming, ga introduced me to ego batteries and vision tank clearo's (stardusts, i think?). no more leaking tanks and messy refills!
about six months later, i was still cigarette-free, loving it, and vaperite had opened up 15 minutes away! hello, rebuildables, easy juice sampling, and cute ego batteries!
all of that is why i've finally registered here. last week, i was growing tired of hunting down replacement coils, and i noticed the glorious joyetech eroll on a site. i read through all of the eroll postings on ecf, watched some youtube reviews, and here i am, eroll in hand and a very satisfied vaper!
